While out and about today in my @cadillacescalade mobile office I made sure to have a few of my favorite things with me! Who we were, who we are, and who we are becoming. Earlier this week, as I waited for a meeting at my office @coldwellbanker with the magnificent @rachelscheid I began taking photos and videos. Before you decide you want to get your real estate license and make that “easy money” make sure you’re ready to spend your days, nights and weekends dedicated to your clients needs and be a master of balancing your own. After all, you are responsible for where they live, eat and sleep. Where their children lay their heads. Where they make their memories with the friends, families and loved ones. Where they have good and tough times. You will represent either the largest purchase of their lives or a large part of their portfolio. They will watch their children grow and celebrate in the home you sell them or they are selling. Maybe it’s a painful realization that their loved one has passed on. Perhaps they have fallen on hard times and couldn’t keep up. We are far more than just a salesperson. Being a Realtor is not a part-time or side job. It’s not only a career it’s a life choice.
