Inspired by this tweet, I looked at the metadata of all 17 photos released so far of the Walker episode Jensen directed (found here) and discovered that the three photos above were recorded to have been taken at February 17, 2022 at 10:48, 10:50, and 11:05 PM.

If you recall from Jensen’s instagram stories, he directed February 25,28, and March 1-4, six days in total. TV episodes usually take 7 or 8 days to film so, it’s likely that February 17 was the missing day.

February 17 is also the day that Kansas performed during ACL at the Moody Theater in Austin at 8:00 pm. So, I think they might be watching Kansas in these pictures!

FYI: Jared got this Soap Opera Magazine that he put on Jensen’s chair on Day 4 of directing from eBay, specifically this listing that ended February 12, 2022. The proof is that the timeline lines up (Jensen directed, presumably, February 25 - March 4 based on the dates of the insta stories) and if you look closely at the creases on the spine of the magazine in the instagram story and in the eBay listing picture, the creases clearly line up as shown above.

I saw a few people wondering at the time where Jared got it, and whether he had random magazines saved or asked Jensen’s parents or something. But he did exactly what I would do and went straight to eBay. If you search “jensen ackles soap opera magazine” on eBay (which is what I searched) there aren’t actually that many results - currently, 1 for sale and 2 recently sold.

What happened between Friday and Sunday at SDCC? On his TV line (I think it was TV line) interview on Friday, when Jensen was asked if he’s going to direct in S14 he said that he’s not sure but it’s still a possibility. But on Sunday when he was asked the same question his answer was simply NO.

I asked the same question of him at the M&G at JIB. And then he said the same thing as he did on the Friday interview but with a longer explanation. He said that since he wouldn’t be directing at the beginning of the season like he usually has, they would have to make some adjustments for him to be able to prep for the episode, so probably the previous ep would be very light on Dean so he wouldn’t have to shoot so much.

So he has been like not sure for at least couple of months but then between Friday and Sunday at Comic Con something changed??

At the M&G he did say that he has told himself that IF they get S15 then he will want to direct (he doesn’t want to assume abut S15 but if of course expect S15 to happen.)
