Ok so what about that time Gao Tu witnesses someone show an interest in his alpha?
Or not really his because at this point, they’re together but not together? They’re not mated. They’re not married. They sleep with each other, yes. Intimate, yes. They share a bed. A house. A son. But there is no label to all of this and no, they’ve never talked about it or set rules to it. They’re together. It’s as simple as that.
Everyone in HS Group knows they’re together. But to what extent, they could only silently guess. But everyone outside HS Group thinks the omega that’s seen by Shen Wenlang’s side accompanying him to business events is his secretary. Which is true, since Gao Tu manages Shen Wenlang’s affairs.
In one particular instance, Shen Wenlang is working on a new research project with another company. Gao Tu is the middleman since this project was sort of a priority and Shen Wenlang doesn’t trust anyone to handle this cleanly and quickly other than Gao Tu.
So Gao Tu is the one meeting with the other president of said partner. An omega. Beautiful. Young. Like Shen Wenlang, she built her company from the ground up. She was headstrong and made realistic decisions which all aligned with HS Group’s goals for the project. Her ideals with Shen Wenlang were a match as well.
So when the project comes to a close and the contracts are already signed, the omega president requests a final meeting with Shen Wenlang. Just a formality before their joint project finally ends. A private celebration for the successful launch of everything. Gao Tu arranges this in Shen Wenlang’s office at the request of the omega president, making sure there’s champagne and a light spread of canapés and other assorted finger food.
“You’ve been really helpful, Secretary Gao,” She says to him as they both walk down the halls to Shen Wenlang’s office.
“It’s been a pleasure working with you.” Gao Tu lowers his head and smiles.
“There’s one last thing I’d like to ask, Secretary Gao. I do hope you’ll be able to help me with it?”
“I’ll try my best.”
“Would you possibly know if Shen Wenlang has a mate?”
This almost stops Gao Tu in his tracks but he does manage to compose himself so as not to miss a single step.
“Or if he’s seeing anybody?” She gives a small shy laugh. “I’m afraid President Shen has curried my favor so to speak. I’d like to open up avenues to which this chance could develop into something more.”
She looks at him and smiles and she’s so beautiful and elegant and in Gao Tu’s head, would look really nice next to Shen Wenlang in those huge old family portraits.
“I apologize if this sounds a bit personal.” She adds. “But you’re so close to him and so I wondered if you knew anything about him seeing someone? I don’t want to step out of line.”
Gao Tu can’t form a proper response to this but thankfully, they’ve reached the end of the hall to where Shen Wenlang’s office is located. Gao Tu just dips his head in apology, tells her politely that she can ask Shen Wenlang and then closes the door as she enters.
And Gao Tu’s head is spinning as he walks back to his desk, clearly taken aback by the conversation. Sure, he and Shen Wenlang never talked about what they are to each other. Or okay, fine. Gao Tu never talked about it. Shen Wenlang on the other hand has expressed his love and devotion to him time and time again. But Gao Tu thinks it’s just a phase and the alpha will get over it.
There’s also Shen Wenlang calling him baobei but that was just a playful petname, right? Like how he calls Lele baobao and it’s all just a silly thing. Nothing serious.
And okay. Okay. They do get intimately close with one another behind closed doors and in the privacy of their own homes. But Gao Tu would never hold Shen Wenlang back. If he wanted to spend his ruts with someone else, then he’ll let him, although he never does and always asks for him anyway.
As much as he doesn’t like to dwell on things, that whole conversation with the omega president just opened up a lot. It reminded Gao Tu how he had a long way to go to catch up to Shen Wenlang. He didn’t deem himself ugly. But he does think he’s only quite average. If that omega president wanted to pursue Shen Wenlang, who is he to say no to that? How could he ever compare himself to her?
His thoughts are cut short when the phone rings. He realizes it has been quite some time now and that the meeting ran for almost an hour.
He picks it up and hears Shen Wenlang’s voice on the other end of the line.
“Gao Tu, can you come in here for a minute?”
The walk towards Shen Wenlang’s office is short but Gao Tu makes sure to drag every step so he doesn’t arrive and see- see what exactly? Shen Wenlang holding hands with another omega and telling him oh look i’ve found a mate?
Gao Tu knocks and enters when he’s told to do so. He sees the omega president across from Shen Wenlang’s desk sitting poised and formal. Shen Wenlang stands as Gao Tu enters and extends a hand, urging him to step closer.
“I apologize if I haven’t introduced Gao Tu properly to you.” Shen Wenlang says as he faces her. “He’s the reason why I cannot accept your proposal.”
So they’ve been talking about me? Gao Tu wonders and then jogs his memory back. Wait, what proposal?
Shen Wenlang then steps out of his desk to get to him. He then takes his hand and laces his fingers in his.
“This is my mate.”
Gao Tu has been trained so long to be formal in settings like these that he was able to keep his mouth from hanging open. Instead, he lowers his head in shock, unable to look at anybody in that room because what?
“He’s not just a secretary.” Shen Wenlang continues and from the corner of Gao Tu’s eyes, he can tell the alpha is looking at him. “He runs HS Group beside me.”
Gao Tu knew Shen Wenlang was lying. He could barely call running errands as running HS Group.
“He owns 15% percent of this company as well.”
This finally has Gao Tu snap his head up look at the alpha in shock.
Surely Shen Wenlang was joking.
The omega president stands and steps toward Gao Tu. And she’s so dazzlingly beautiful in her business suit and what is Shen Wenlang doing because she’s right there! She likes him! She’s rich and owns millions and Gao Tu is just… He’s not…
He can’t be her.
The omega president smiles and bows her head at him. “I apologize for stepping out of line earlier. Had I known, I wouldn't have asked. Do know that I did not have any intention of pursuing your alpha if he’s already claimed.”
She then turns to Shen Wenlang. “I’m quite embarrassed. I hope I did not destroy the project that both of our companies built due to my actions.”
Shen Wenlang shakes his head. “Not at all. Thank you for being honest and respectful about this.”
She leaves with a shake of both their hands and Gao Tu is left standing there, speechless at the whole ordeal.
Shen Wenlang nudges him out of his stupor. Gao Tu focuses on a spot on the ground as a wave of embarrassment fills him.
“What exactly did she ask you?” The alpha asks, voice soft and coaxing.
Gao Tu takes a deep breath. “If you were mated. Or you were seeing anyone. Because she wanted to pursue you.”
“And what did you say?”
Gao Tu swallows nervously. “That she ask you herself.”
He feels a finger settle under his chin. Shen Wenlang isn’t forcing him to look up at him but Gao Tu does lift his head up. And what he sees on the alpha’s face surprised him.
Shen Wenlang looks hurt.
“Am I not yours?” He asks.
You are! Gao Tu wants to scream out. He has always wanted Shen Wenlang. For years he has not looked at any other alpha except him. Shen Wenlang is the sun to him and Gao Tu is always willing to burn just to do everything for him to shine brighter.
But how can he say that? It sounded so selfish of him to keep the sun all to himself.
It pained Gao Tu to hear the doubt in Shen Wenlang’s voice. Like he didn’t believe Gao Tu could ever want him back.
A knock on the door sounds, interrupting them. Yet Shen Wenlang hasn’t dropped his finger, hasn’t stepped away. His eyes are still on his.
“What is it?” He calls out.
“The conference room is ready for your meeting.”
On one hand, Gao Tu thinks he’s saved by the bell again. He doesn’t have to deal with answering Shen Wenlang’s question. They can leave it at that and not put a label to things as usual.
Or.
Something like this happens again. And the jealousy will eat up at him. So what if Gao Tu actually says something. And maybe, maybe, the sun just actually wants to shine only for him.
It’s feels so so selfish. But it also feels so so right.
Shen Wenlang drops his finger. “We can talk about this later. Or not.”
And without another word, he leaves to get to his meeting.
But not before Gao Tu reaches to tug at the back of his pristine suit. It’s a small tug. Not enough to hold Shen Wenlang back but enough for the alpha to know that someone, this simple omega, who is not rich or pretty or owns a multi-million dollar company, wants him to stop. To turn around. To look at him.
Shen Wenlang does so slowly, eyes searching his but Gao Tu only lowers his gaze.
“I…” Gao Tu trains his eyes on the buttons on Shen Wenlang’s suit. “I like you.”
No. That’s not enough. He swallows hard.
“I want you.” Gao Tu furrows his brow in concentration. “I didn’t like… When she said she wanted…” He takes a deep breath. “She can’t have you.”
Because you’re mine.
Warm large hands cup his face, bringing him up to meet Shen Wenlang’s own and a burst of iris fills the room with life. Gao Tu’s knees almost give way at the intensity of the alpha’s scent that’s wrapping around his being, holding him close as if to stake his claim as well.
“Nobody can have me.” Shen Wenlang breathes. “Because I only belong to you.”
And thank whoever built Shen Wenlang’s office for having the doors sealed with pheromone blockers as that entire room smelled of iris and sage. That meeting was pushed back to another date because HS Group’s president was currently in a deep deep meeting and is absolutely not to be disturbed.
Later, much later, when they’re at home and Lele is riding on Shen Wenlang’s shoulders as they play around the room and Gao Tu is picking an outfit for Lele to wear to school tomorrow, the omega remembers what Shen Wenlang said.
“That was a good joke about having me own 15% of HS Group.” Gao Tu says.
Shen Wenlang puts Lele down to join him in picking out a pair of socks.
“That wasn’t a joke.”
Gao Tu looks at him in shock.
“What?” Shen Wenlang chuckles. “It’s true. You own 15%.”
Gao Tu just continues to stare at him.
“But… I don’t want it.”
“Well, that’s what the clause states. As president, my mate is entitled to 15%. Both mine and your shares will be handed down to the next of kin in any unforeseen event.” Shen Wenlang says. “I had that clause legally changed and written 3 years ago.”
The alpha hugs Lele from behind. “But there will be no unforeseen event. You and Lele will always be under my care.”
“But…” Gao Tu is trying his best to wrap his head around this. “I’m not…”
Shen Wenlang raises an eye at him. “Not what? Not my mate?”
Well, yes.
The alpha lets Lele go as he leans towards Gao Tu and plants a kiss to his forehead.
“Not yet. But I want you to be. Someday. When you’re ready.”
Shen Wenlang smiles at him and Gao Tu truly does not care if the sun burns him to the ground.
So now, there is a label. Gao Tu is Shen Wenlang’s mate and vice versa.
All they need is a mark.
And we all know that Gao Tu will say yes to it happening someday.
did not realize in ep 11 that shen wenlang's demeanor towards gao tu DEF changes after his conversation with hua yong where he's like 'you like him, right?' and shen wenlang is like 'no, shut up'
literally that's all it took im sooooooo
LIKE LOOK AT THIS SOFT MOTHERFUCKER?! SIR YOU'RE SOOOOO DUMB. BUT BETTER LATE THAN NEVER I GUESS (too little too late though)
Poor Gao Tu, sick as a dog, standing there, listening to his boss/crush/(alleged) friend of 10 years say he’s in love with Hua Yong, an Omega, and even say he’s the only Omega he can tolerate. Poor thing 😭
Boi had to go through stuff this ep. Also someone seriously needs to make a compilation of Shen Wenlang's eye rolls.
Bro has suffered too much 😔 ngl, I don't blame him that much for being so pathetic and repressed
(Novel spoiler ahead)
Cuz I'd be too if I had a family as fucked up as his. With one parent coming back from the dead and the other being crazy as fuck and constantly torturing the former and a lot more absolutely unhinged shit.
secrets, secrets are no fun unless you share with the one

hi everyone! after episode 11 I was inspired to write what I thought would happen if gao tu finally admitted to shen wen lang that he was an omega and how I would want that to play out. this series has truly flipped my life upside-down, and I haven't felt this inspired to write in many many years. that being said I am probably very rusty but i hope you can enjoy this fic anyways. happy reading!
Gao Tu walked into Shen Wen Lang's office with determination to finally tell him the truth. His physical body, and even more so his heart, couldn’t stand this anguish anymore. He had to know. Even if he hated him, even if he never spoke to Gao Tu again, his secret was eating him alive. Lost in thought, Gao Tu made it to Shen Wen Lang’s office faster than he realized. Palms sweaty, he knocked and opened Shen Wen Lang’s office door.
“Come in” Shen Wen Lang was busy typing something, probably important. He didn’t bother looking up. Gao Tu’s heartbeat pounded in his ears. All the lies, all the hiding, all the drug abuse, and suppressing who he truly was. Not just that he was an omega, but an omega who knew who he wanted and was finally willing to risk everything to get it. Gao Tu doubted he’d be that lucky. Shen Wen Lang continued typing.
“Are you just going to stand there with your mouth open or do you have something of use to say?” Gao Tu stared at him, god he had the most beautiful face.
“News about that filthy omega perhaps?” Shen Wen Lang finally looked up from his computer at him, taking in his face. “Gao Tu, what’s the matter?” concern laced his features as Shen Wen Lang looked him over carefully. It was now or never.
“I have something I’d like to tell you.” Shen Wen Lang leaned back in his chair, giving Gao Tu his full attention. Tears that were sure to come at the most embarrassing time burned behind his eyes. “I’m not who you think I am.” Shen Wen Lang sighed.
“Gao Tu, don’t be ridiculous. I’ve known you my whole life. To think I almost thought you had an illness of sorts.” Ga swallowed hard, Shen Wen Lang’s eyes caught it. “I haven’t been myself in quite some time and I…” his voice caught in his throat. Shen Wen Lang stood and came to the front of his desk directly in front of Goa Tu looking concerned. “I can’t do this to you- to m e anymore.”
“Gao Tu, you’re not making sense. What is this about?” Shen Wen Lang crossed his arms.
“I’ve been lying to you, to everyone. I’m- I'm an omega Mr. Shen.” Shen Wen Lang’s eyes grew wide as the moon.
“You’re what?” Shen Wen Lang’s arms fell to his sides in shock.
“I have been since I was a small child and my mom she- well she taught me to hide it, to keep me safe. But I realize now that I’ve been keeping it a secret for fear of you hating me. Hating me just as much as I care for you. Not caring that the suppressants have been slowly deteriorating my body, because how could I ever live without you? How can I stand to lose you? You’re the only real family besides my sister I’ve ever had I-“ Gao Tu looked down, the tears finally breaking free. “I’m sorry Mr. Shen.” Gao Tu could see Shen Wen Lang’s clenched fists through his blurry eyes.
“What's your scent?” Shen Wen Lang replied flatly.
“What?” Gao Tu looked up at him.
“Your scent, what is it? show me.” Gao Tu for the first time since he presented, let his scent fill the air between them. Shen Wen Lang stumbled back with equal parts shock and of course rage. “How could you?” Shen Wen Lang whispered.
“Mr. Shen-“ Gao Tu reached for his clenched fists. Shen Wen Lang stepped away.
“It was you that night at X hotel.” Shen Wen Lang’s face took on an expression Gao Tu had never seen before. Was that hurt in his eyes? Fear? Betrayal? Gao Tu’s own emotions became even more turbulent at Shen Wen Lang’s distress.
“Yes, it was me. I wasn’t in my right mind! The meds stopped working and my heat-“ Gao Tu stumbled over his words.
“Get out.” Gao Tu’s heart stopped. He knew this was the most likely outcome. Yet somehow that didn’t make it hurt any less. His throat was too lodged with emotions to speak, even if he knew what to say. He just nodded with tears streaming down his face. He walked to the office door and grabbed the handle taking one last look at Shen Wen Lang. He couldn’t stand that this is how he’d remember him. Clenched fists, labored breathing, and fiery eyes. Eyes that no longer looked at him as his friend, but now his enemy. Gao Tu’s heart shattered into a million pieces. Ga Tu clenched his eyes shut, unable to stand another moment in this pain, and took a deep breath walking out Shen Wen Langs office door for the last time. He reached for his resignation papers and placed them on his desk for Shen Wen Llang to find. He knew he’d likely never see him again, and that made his body go numb. Cursing his omega nature, he stumbled away. His honesty set his spirit free, but the cost was his shattered heart. He feared the payoff wasn’t worth this pain, feared he couldn’t live with this ache, but what’s done is done. He can’t go back.
He didn’t remember walking to the bus stop or boarding the bus at all. Only one more stop from his apartment. He leaned his head against the cool glass of the bus window and took a deep breath. Shen Wen Lang's words over the past month rang clear in his head. “If I ever find that omega, they’re dead.” Would Shen Wen Lang's rage truly push him to kill? Doubt filled his chest. Shen Wen Lang taking his life seemed unfathomable, but it wasn’t just himself he had to worry about now. He touched his stomach still in disbelief that this is all really happening. As he gazed out the bus window, it was like saying goodbye to his past life. Everything would be different now. His phone suddenly buzzed in his pocket. Hua Yong’s name popped up. Gao Tu hesitantly answered.
“Hello?” Gao Tu’s palms were sweaty as he held his phone.
“Gao Tu, where are you?” Hua Yong was always straight to the point.
“I’m on the bus.”
“On your way home?” Gao Tu hesitated to answer. Although Hua Yong was now his friend, he was Shen Wen Lang’s friend first. “Gao Tu…do you have a place to go?” Hua Yong knew, he always knew. One day he’d ask how but today was not that day.
“I…no, not yet” He still had so much to figure out.
“I’ll leave the spare key to my extra apartment downtown in your mailbox”
“I couldn’t possibly-“ Gao Tu sat up straight in surprise.
“No arguments Gao Tu, this isn’t a question.” Gao Tu had tears in his eyes. When was the last time someone truly had his back?
“Please don’t tell…” Gao Tu wrung his hands together.
“I won’t but Gao Tu…you should”
“He already hates me.” Hua Yong chuckled at him softly.
“Gao Tu, hell would freeze over before Shen Wen Lang could ever hate you. And even then…”
“You didn’t see his face. He’s never looked at me that way.” Despair began to dig its claws in his chest.
“Maybe so, but you know as well as I do that Shen Wen Lang tends to be all bark and no bite. That fool speaks before he thinks and blows everything up before he even has the chance to think about what he wants.”
“I’m an omega, he could never want me.” Gao Tu was sure these tears would never stop.
Shen Wen Llang hit the accelerator even harder as he sped down the highway. Red lights? Didn’t matter. Stop signs? Mere suggestions he would not be taking. He had to get to Gao Tu before he had a chance to run. And who could blame him? He had no words, no plans, nothing but instinct telling him he must get to Gao tu. Shen Wen Lang whipped into a parking spot as dust clouded around his car and he marched out straight up the stairs two at a time to Gao Tu’s door. He went to turn the handle, locked. He proceeded to knock, and when that didn’t work he banged.
“GAO TU!!” he roared.
“Quiet with all that racket!” Gao Tu’s grumpy neighbor screamed. Not caring, Shen Wen Lang kept banging until he felt his presence. Taking the last step up the stairs, Gao Tu stared at him.
“You’re going to get me kicked out you know.” Shen Wen Lang stood frozen with his fist against the door. He composed himself, standing upright and dusting himself off.
“Let me in” his demand was shakier than usual.
“And why should I?” Gao Tu lifted his chin at him.
“Because I have something to say.” Shen Wen Lang felt his desperation rise.
“I think you’ve said enough.” Gao Tu dug for his keys in his pocket.
“Gao Tu-“ Shen Wen Lang reached for his hand, but he backed away.
“No…you don’t get to steamroll over me and blow up and then show up and think you get your way, not anymore.” Shen Wen Lang had never seen Gao Tu this stubborn.
“Please…” maybe it was the desperation he knew was in his eyes now, but Gao Tu took mercy on him and unlocked his door and held it open. Shen Wen Lang didn’t waste time, scared he’d change his mind and kick him out after all, which maybe he deserved.
“What did you want to say?” Gao Tu stood with his arms crossed. Shen Wen Lang couldn’t stand him being upset at him. Pure panic set in at the idea of losing Gao Tu forever and this being the last way he’d look at him. On instinct he lurched forward and wrapped his arms around Gao Tu. Gao Tu froze.
“Please, don’t leave.” Tears filled his eyes. Shen Wen Lang couldn’t remember the last time he’d cried, much less begged. Gao Tu finally unfolded his arms to return his hug. Shen Wen Lang could finally breathe again. “Please.” Shen Wen Lang pleaded, threading his fingers through the hair on the back of Ga Tu’s neck. Gao Tu pulled back to face him, tears in his own eyes.
“You hate omegas.” The tears streamed fast down his cheeks and Shen Wen Lang brushed them away with his thumbs and shook his head.
“I could never hate you Gao Tu. Please forgive me.” Gao Tu closed his eyes as he continued to cry. Shen Wen Lang lifted his chin and looked into his tear-filled eyes as he leaned in and kissed Gao Tu softly on the lips. Gao Tu looked shocked.
“I’ve wanted to kiss you for more years than I can count.” Shen Wen Lang whispered.
“There are things you still don’t know, things you could hate me for.” Gao Tu’s voice cracked as he spoke.
“Secrets don’t matter. Tell me, and I’ll continue caring for you like I always have.” Shen Wen Lang was certain of this in his heart.
“I’m pregnant.” Gao Tu blurted out. Shen Wen Lang blinked in surprise at him and then a smile grew across his face.
“Is it ours?” Gao Tu nodded.
“I’m sorry about my heat I didn’t know and I didn’t want that to be how we-“ Shen Wen Lang kissed him longer this time slipping the tip of his tongue against his.
“I’m thankful it was you that night.” Shen Wen Lang whispered.
“You are?” Gao Tu gripped Shen Wen Lang’s shirt tighter.
“How could I explain to someone that even though we were a scent match my heart belonged to someone else.” Gao Tu stared at him with those big beautiful puppy eyes he loved so much. “I love you Gao Tu, and no one could ever come between how I feel about you.” Gao Tu kissed him abruptly and with Shen Wen Lang’s face in his hands he whispered.
“I love you too” Shen Wen Lang felt the smile on his face spread wider than he thought possible.
Gao Tu loved him! Him of all people. With his hot temper and quick tongue and bleeding heart, he loved him. The realization sunk into him as he backed Gao Tu into the wall and kissed him even deeper than before. He cradled Gao Tu’s neck with both hands as he devoured what he always knew was his. Moaning as he slipped his tongue against Gao Tu’s and then softly bit his lower lip. Gao Tu’s whimper broke something inside him as his omega pheromones let loose and he tossed Gao Tu on the mattress. Ga Tu looked at him in awe as Shen Wen Lang unbuttoned his shirt and ripped his own tie off. His chest glistened in the soft sunlight breaking through the window.
“Your turn my Gao Tu.” Gao Tu nodded as his eyes glossed over and his sage pheromones filled the room. It was intoxicating.
“You smell so good.” Shen Wen Lang leaned into his neck and breathed deeply.
“That’s not what you used to say.” Gao Tu chuckled. Shen Wen Lang took his chin with one hand, forcing their eyes to meet.
“That’s because I thought I was scenting something that could never be mine.”
“And now?” Gao Tu arched his neck towards Shen Wen Lang.
“And now, I know your mine. there’s no getting rid of me.” Shen Wen Lang gazed at Gao Tu and pulled him closer, crashing their lips together once more. Gao Tu’s taste, his scent, his touch, were driving Shen Wen Lang to madness. Gao Tu’s hands roamed over his chest as Shen Wen Lang hastily unbuttoned Gao Tu’s shirt and pulled his tie clean off in one tug. Shen Wen Lang pushed Gao Tu back into the mattress and straddled him. He tried to keep his alpha pheromones in check, but with the way Ga Tu was looking at him, the way his scent put him in a trance, it was no use. When he finally let his alpha pheromones release full force he felt relief wash over him. He spent years being pent up just so no omega would ever get any ideas. In his mind he always belonged to Gao Tu, even if he didn’t voice it. There was no one else he wanted, no one else he loved, who he trusted as much as Gao Tu. Even with his recent deception, there is no one he trusted more with his heart and soul than the precious omega beneath him.
Gao Tu was sure that the man straddling him at this moment was no less than a god. His alpha pheromones engulfed him almost to the point of delirium. He felt himself clenching in need of his alpha. In a haze of lust they were both naked, skin to skin. The relief he felt was absolute bliss. He needed this, needed HIM for so long. Now that he had his Shen Wen Lang he panicked and felt tears well in his eyes.
“Gao Tu, what's wrong my love?” Shen Wen Lang held his wet face in his hands.
“I can’t- I can’t- I can’t-” Gao Tu was panicking, shaking his head back and forth.
“Tell me what’s wrong. Now.” Shen Wen Lang let his alpha bark bleed into his words, unable to stand Gao Tu’s distress.
“I can’t lose you!” Gao Tu cried.
“I’m right here you’re not going to lose me, not ever.” Gao Tu felt Shen Wen Lang run his hands through his hair, trying to calm him.
“But what if you change your mind! How can you suddenly not hate omegas! If you leave I won’t be able to- I can’t-” Gao Tu started to gasp for breath.
Shen Wen Lang gripped the back of Gao Tu’s neck. “Listen to me. You are everything to me. When I think of my future? You are all I see. All I want is you and our child to be happy forever. Until my last breath that is all I will ever want. I’m right here and I'm not going anywhere. Let me prove it to you.” Shen Wen Lang poured his comforting pheromones over Gao Tu as he started to relax once more. Gao Tu felt his need increase the more he relaxed.
“Shen, please” Gao Tu’s hips rose and grinded into Shen Wen Lang’s.
“I will always give you what you need.” Shen Wen Lang lifted Gao Tu’s hips as he slipped into his leaking entrance. Each careful thrust went deeper and deeper as Gao Tu’s moans grew louder. Shen Wen Lang captured Gao Tu’s open mouth with his own and kissed him into oblivion. When they both came up for air Shen Wen Lang had a shit-eating smirk on his face.
“Are you going to come for me baby?” Shen Wen Lang asked a whining Gao Tu. “Hmm, I think I know what you want, what you need.” Shen Wen Lang brought his mouth to Gao Tu’s neck as Gao Tu started to pant. Shen Wen Lang smirked to himself and latched onto Gao Tu’s perfect neck. Not enough to bond, not yet, but enough to satiate the need that flowed through the both of them. Gao Tu gasped and his need spurted hard and hot all over his chest. Shen Wen Lang followed him over the edge and released himself inside Gao Tu. Gao Tu had never felt so loved, so whole. A peaceful smile took over his face.
“I love you Gao Tu, always and forever.” Shen Wen Lang whispered in his ear.
“Always and forever.” Gao Tu curled into his alpha, his home, and fell fast asleep.
Shen Wen Lang held Gao Tu in his arms and for the first time in his life, he felt completely at peace. In his arms he held the world, and he would do anything to protect it. Shen Wen Lang kissed Gao Tu gently on the forehead and dozed off knowing that when he woke up, he would be living his dreams in real life.
THE END <3
I hope you enjoyed this fic as much as I did writing it! if you wanna fangirl together pls leave a comment or message me!! I literally want to make friends in this fandom so bad bc all my friends in real life don't get it!!! LOLLOLOL
also, pls let me know if I made a mistake in any way! I'm new to Asian media and tried to make sure to spell their names right etc, I'm open to making any corrections :)
SHEN WENLANG TRULY IS THE DUMBEST MAN ALIVE a thousand questions about what he would do if he got someone pregnant he answers in the most horrendous way possible and oh well my friend and employee for a decade doesnt want to be here anymore why could that possibly be🤔
I'm also wondering whether he's convinced that bullying will magically make Gao Tu fall in love with him (I mean he still succeded, but it backfired since Gao Tu is sure his crush hates him).
I am screaming they're together and they're both HERE and now they have to actually manage to communicate... that's not gonna go well, y'all. It never does.
Oh, these babies in love. They're both so deeply fucked up and I love them both and I need them to manage to be happy together better than I've heard they did in the novels. Tiny sad Gao Tu is killing me.
Shen Wenlang, you are the worst. At least we finally reached this point of sheer unadulterated stupidity and assholishness on his part. Why are you listening to his father like it's Gao Tu speaking!? If he'd wanted that, you know he wouldn't do it that way.
(So much of this distrust comes from him not knowing that Gao Tu was joking about accepting money when he quit and now Shen Wenlang is second guessing everything about their relationship and friendship but MY DUDE please you are know better.)
The worst part is that Shen Wenlang would never ask him to do this. He only even believes any of it because he's got all of his own issues and he's trapped in this fear of being used and because of Gao Tu's father and just sjgdklsg AUGH MY BOYS. Please give them a happy ending after all of this.
I mean, he deserves every bit of this pain. He deserves agony. But the problem is that his pain is Gao Tu's pain and he doesn't deserve any of this pain. Shen Wenlang's act is so out of place there's nothing left but his own pain and agony... sadly, which is also Gao Tu's.
Shen Wenlang deserves all of this suffering, he really does, he was a bigot and an asshole and he hurt the person he loved by trusting all the wrong things... but he also trusted him in all the right ways as well and there's so much and now he's got a literal mating disorder. Can I just be clear about how much I love this show and these men? My entire heart for them.
And the lips and the finger and the finger on the lips and the lips on the finger and the lips and the finger and the finger and the lips and the lips and the finger and I CANNOT OH MY GOD.
