So this may sound... Weird. I know that Muck is the one of the most shipped couple in the Motorcity fandom. I'm usually picky when it comes to yaoi, but I just don't ship Muck, I mean sure sometimes I find it cute? But I just can't! Now if you put Mike with Jenzen (Which we know absolutely nothing about! besides the fact that most people think he's RED) And then we're talking!

Of course my Motorcity OTP will forever be Jukebox! *SIGH* My bbies!

Motorcity Month Day 13: Red and Jenzen

I'm one of those people that thought they were the same person. Thinking about it, some stuff doesn't really add up, but...eh. In this case, it makes writing about them a lot easier.

He'd be more inclined to believe if he hadn't tried to defend Mike's actions--Mike fucking Chilton--just before. And if they hadn't confiscated his things. Taken him from his quarters and shoved him into a cell--Not a cell, not a cell, they said I wasn't under arrest, it wasn't my fault--questioning him day after day, asking him if he still wanted to defend Chilton. After all of this.

Right up to the day he escaped, the answer was "yes."

And then he found out where Mike was living, what Mike was doing, and the anger boiled inside him. He was a hero down in Motorcity, surrounded by friends and admirers. Rescuing people in trouble.

And here was Jenzen, standing in front of the ruins of his first mission at Chilton's side...completely ruined himself.

"Where the fuck were you, then?! HUH?!"

He kicked the rubble under his feet.

"Some fucking hero! If you wanted to save everyone, why didn't you save me?!"

Tore at his hair. Glared into those damned red hourglasses, the symbol of his failure.

"I needed you first!"

He didn't know how long he was screaming, crying, raging, tearing things down; didn't know if anyone was around to here or if anyone cared. But by the end of it all...he didn't need Mike to save him anymore. It was already too late.

Been accumulating Motorcity doodles. TL;DR descriptions:

2. Jenzen cosplaying as Ishimaru from Dangan Ronpa (going with the old high school AU setting)

3. Different high school AU setting (thanks to shindan maker) where Mike and Chuck are in different schools but are still a couple. There's a Japanese myth where high school couples would exchange their tie and ribbon to each other, so that means if a girl wears a tie, that means she's taken (while the guy wears her ribbon). So here they both have changed ties too. (except that Mike's was... bolo tie... hahaaaaah)
