Chase would admit that she spent a lot of the flight thinking about Jeongin and wondering if she was doing the right thing by putting herself out there again for someone in the same industry as her ex. Especially when she knew that if anything happened between them, it would need to be kept secret, just like with her ex, and she could possibly get her heart broken all over again. But in the end, there was just something about Jeongin that was pulling her in completely, and he was someone she was willing to risk putting herself out there again. She had a good feeling about him; there was a vibe about him that she didn't have with her ex, and that's what made her feel like this was the right choice, that she was doing the right thing. And that settled her mind by the time she landed, and Chase was pretty thankful for that. She was going to have a good time with Jeongin, she knew that, and that's what she should focus on.
Once she got to her hotel and got settled into her suite, she texted Jeongin and let him know that she was there in Korea and getting settled into her hotel, so whenever he wanted to meet, she would be up for it. She didn't have to wait long before he was texting her back and giving her the details about where they would be meeting for their date and what time the car would pick her up, which Chase couldn't help but smile about, loving that he had already planned for everything; even though he had said that he would, it just felt good knowing that he really did it. So Chase had texted him back that she would see him in a few hours, before running herself a bath so she could wash the travel off and soak for a little bit before getting ready to meet Jeongin. She thankfully had plenty of time to really put care into how she looked before the car picked her up, so she slid into a lavender sundress that hugged all her curves, which she matched with a pair of lavender heels. Chase left her hair down, still in braids since her promo in Paris and London, and she kept her makeup light and as natural as possible. Chase was just grabbing a matching purse and a sweater when she got the text alert that the car was there to pick her up, and she headed down to meet it.
The whole ride she would admit she was nervous, but Chase was also very excited, and when they pulled up to a fancy-looking restaurant, she was curious how they were going to be discreet there. That question was answered when she was led into the building and there wasn't anyone in the restaurant, aside from one table that was set up for two and where Jeongin was already waiting for her and a few of their staff. Chase smiled a little brighter when her eyes landed on Jeongin, her eyes moving over him for a moment because he was even better looking in person, and now she was feeling kind of shy and tongue-tied all of a sudden. The moment she was standing in front of him, her smile went soft and her eyes stayed locked on his. "Hey," she said shyly, her cheeks turning a little pink from the fact that she was feeling so shy and nervous being in front of him right now. "All this looks amazing; thank you for putting this together," Chase said softly once she could get more words out than just hey. / @jeonginya
