Let's try this tumblr thing a little different.

Initially, I jettisoned off this site because it was feeding into AI. Then, it seems anywhere and everywhere is going to feed my work into AI. At least, it seems that some critical mass is building to go against what is happening.

However, I recognize I still need some sort of delivery mechanism for my work. I do a lot on substack, and that's great. Yet, they sliced heavy into their organic discovery. How annoying...

In the face of it all, I am doing the best work that I've been doing for a long time. The other weekend, I went down to Jeonju with some friends. They wanted to see the King of Bibimbap off his new Netflix fame, but being around him, you can tell that was just par for the course for this guy.

He was awesome. He was excited when I got out the film camera after shooting his performances. He really does tell the story, bang the big drums and then setup on the drum kit at the top of the hour. He really does spend his time constantly writing out his Bibimbap language. The entire restaurant is covered in it, it's a testimony to doing things a certain way regardless of what happens.

The thing about Mr. Bibim is that it really seems like the fame came second. He did all of this anyway, and the success just grew from there. Sometimes the restaurant is busy, sometimes it is not. We said our goodbyes, he gave me his business card and asked me to send the photos when I finished with them. Of course, I shall do so.

And, at some point, I will be back again around closing time. To share some Moju, talk of life and exploits. So it goes.
