What inspired you start drawing them?

Because it kinds remind me of the The Great Mouse Detective, An American tale and The Secret of NIMH in ways?

Also have you seen Jerboas? Their so tiny and cute.

I'm keeping the species limited to mostly western north america (or species that could be commonly found there through anthropogenic means) but also I have no idea how a jerboa with human anatomy would work. They're just shorebirds wearing fursuits.
