Anna, being Anna, crept into @jeremydied's room when she heard him showering in the early hours. Unable to resist, she lay on his bed as if it were her own. Her eyes closed as she allowed herself a brief respite of relaxation; there was something so S A F E about just being near Jeremy for her.

"Hurry up in there, will you?" She finally called, opening her eyes, followed by a tiny bout of snickering.

It had been three years since Buffy and Willow had awakened all the potential slayers into actual slayers. Buffy thought that she could finally retire, but unfortunately, even though it wasn't on a Hellmouth, Mystic Falls aka East Coast Sunnydale had its fair share of Hellmouth-y activity. Needless to say that her slayer days were far from over and she was once again having to sneak in and out of the house.

Buffy did her best to keep this part of her life from Jenna, Elena, and Jeremy and so far she'd been successful. If they knew, they would automatically be dragged into this life and she didn’t want that for them. Especially not for Elena and Jeremy. They were still in high school. She didn't want then to be worrying about vampires crashing Parent-Teacher night, swim team monsters, or devil dogs at the prom.

Tonight, however, Buffy was not as stealthy sneaking back inside. She lost her footing outside twice, once outside Elena's bedroom window and then again outside Jeremy's and yet somehow, she managed not to fall. But, then she had a little trouble getting her own window open and when she finally did, it was loud and clunky. Then, somehow, she managed to fall through the window, loudly hitting the floor. She heard hurried footsteps outside the door and then it swung open. Crap.

coming  tenants  are  always  a  hit  or  miss  with  chad.  sometimes   he  tolerates  them  for  their  possible  benefits  to  him.  an  example  would  be  families  who  keep  the  fridge  stocked  with  what  chad  deems  worthy  of  of  the  house  invasion.  it  is  usually  the  organics,  decent  backing  supplies,  &  of  course  white  wine.  those  people  he  lets  stay.  anyone  else  depending  on  the  day  could  become  another  member  of  chads  eternal  damnation.  trespassers,  however,  were  an  instant  no  no,  if  they  came  here  for  a  little  mystery  joy  ride.   ❝  just  because  it’s  vacant  of  people,  doesn’t  mean  it  doesn’t  belong  to  anyone.   ❞   chad  leans  against  the  stair  banister,  glass  in  hand,  starting  at  the  intruder.  ❝  this  is  my  house,  and  you  honey,  are  trespassing.   ❞

Her smile faltered a little at the apology. The fact that he felt the need to - it hurt something in Bonnie's heart to see it. It was a miracle, to see him again. They had lost so much over the years, she had lost so much over the years. To have Jeremy back was precious. Something she would not take for granted, not when they both knew loss so intimately. He was far too important to her to ever push away for any reason. "You have nothing to be sorry about, Jer." Again, she reached out to softly, quickly clasp his hand. "Nothing," she repeated.

        amara has no idea if she ever felt something like this, something so similar to … what exactly? her? her situation? her entire being? and yet, amara also recognized something else. something very alluring. death. strange, she had always imagined death differently. formless. weightless. exalted over everything.

       this, however, was a person. or at least looked like a person. an ordinary person. someone from around the corner. perhaps, she fears, she is losing her mind again. and yet she had to try.

       it was one of the few times amara reached out her hand and voluntarily touched someone. perhaps she had hoped that touching his arm would result in something (like it does when spirits want to pass through her). preferably being sucked away into oblivion. but nothing seemed to happen. her brown eyes looked up at the man, confusion in her eyes.

       "why doesn't it work?"

Surprise starter for @jeremydied bc Elena is determined

Once again she finds herself leaning against his door frame, watching him play his video games. His fingers move so fast on the controller, Elena cant even imagine being able to manipulate the joysticks and buttons without even looking that quickly. It's actually really impressive.

"Hey, you playing the game box or whatever its called?" Did you mean Xbox Elena? All at once every boy in the world cringed. "Which game is that?"
