I was in a dnd one-shot recently, and played a mummified reborn sorcerer Jeresh.
The drawing is kinda rough cause it’s basically a one time character and i didn’t want to spend too much time on it, but heck, i like it a lot.

So I recently got back from Jordan and what an experience it was! I've never been to a Middle Eastern country before and Jordan has been on my list for a while.
In the time I was there I got to meet so many interesting people, I got to wander around and explore. There were so many occasions where I was asked to drink tea by people, who I just happen to go into their shop, buy something and strike up a conversation. I got lost wandering around Amman and the amount of people who helped me was astounding, they just came up to me and asked me where I wanted to go.
I talked about politics in the Middle East and especially about Syria being a hot topic over some shisha. To learn how people in Jordan felt about it and to get a different view from what the western media keep telling us was refreshing. Every place I went to around Jordan their hospitality was amazing, even if they could speak very little English and I very little Arabic, they would offer us tea or coffee as a welcome drink, where ever I was staying.
The places I really wanted to see Jeresh and Petra were absolutely brilliant so much archaeology there, I can not get over the excitement when I saw both places, truly amazing! Yes when I saw the Treasury which features in the 3rd Indiana Jones movie, all I could think of was that scene at the end, but even so the detail and beauty of it was something else.
I slept under the stars, saw part of the Milky Way, saw some wonderful sunsets and heard Hyenas in the night. I got to float in the Dead Sea, have a mud bath and see Israel and Palestine from different points on my journey, the most breathtaking was from the top of Mount Nebo. I got to see a 6th century mosaic of the Holy Land and get to experience more Jordanian hospitality with music and even more shisha on my journey. Every night there brought something different and I got to spend it with a variety of different people. I met people seeing Jordan and living in Jordan as well and have made some brilliant friends.
But for anyone wanting to visit Jordan, go, it was the best experience for me and I have come away so much better for it! I have started to learn Arabic and I would definitely go back again and spend longer than I did, for the food and hospitality there made me feel like I was home and welcome regardless of how far away I was.
