Field Spotlight: Rule Change for Jericho Airsoft
Making you all aware of a small, but noteworthy, rule change that occurred with a previously spotlighted field, Jericho Airsoft.
As they've stated on their website there are new face protection rules in place for the field. Our previous post has been edited to show this change.
Be aware, fields are subject to change to both physical appearance and rules. Followers of the AirsoftHub will be alerted of changes to any spotlighted fields as the information is provided to the general public. We aim to keep our information relevant and current.
Field Spotlight: Jericho Airsoft
Location:
14881 Temescal Canyon Road, Lake Elsinore, CA
Located within Jungle Island Paintball Park
Admission:
$25, with signed waiver.
$15 on "Patch Days" with an official Jericho Patch ($10 purchase at the field or online)
Hours of Operation:
8am-4pm Saturdays and Sundays
5pm-10pm Saturdays during Daylight Savings
Weekdays avaliable for private parties of 15+ booked 1 week in advance
Rentals:
Yes, +$30 to admission for full metal AEG, 1000 BBs, mask, and BDU jacket
FPS Limit:
Snipers/DMRS: 550 FPS, 100 ft minimum engagement.
Standard Guns: 400 FPS
Basic Rules:
Fully sealed goggles combined with any form of face cover that covers face and ears for all players. No shooting glasses.
Under 18 must have plastic or steel mesh lower face protection, no soft face covers (ie balaclava, shemagh, etc.)
No hoodies/sweaters, BDU jacket minimum to help identify team. (green v. tan)
Mandatory barrel covers
Snipers require sidearm and/or a spotter.
Grenades:
Only stun and tornado grenades.
The area is a fire hazard, so no smoke and pyro-activated grenades are allowed.
Field Types:
"Babylon" - A middle eastern themed city that quickly changes from tight CQB to open alleyways.
"Firebase" - A overgrown valley behind Babylon with bunkers spread throughout the valley allowing for long range and close quarter face-offs on the same field.
"Trenches" - Exactly what is sounds like, although shallow.
"Recon Ruins" - Another large overgrown field with a river bank (sometimes dry) with three bridges. One side of the field contains "ancient" ruins, while the other has small huts/buildings along the river bank. It allows for a lot of cover and medium-long range engagements.

Had a great time airsofting today with Mark. Made some new buddies, used Mark's G&P WOC Magpul M4 (OMG I WANT IT MARK TAKE MY SCAR PLZ), and got some footage with his GoPro (going to go edit it and upload it. Love Jericho Airsoft
After taking a break from airsofting, I made my way out to Lake Elsinore for some airsoft fun.
