Jerilderie. A little country hole in regional NSW. Its biggest claim to fame is that the infamous Ned Kelly robbed the bank there, and wrote the "Jerilderie Letter"ย I spent a couple of years here when I was younger, and this is where I first found a love of photography. ย I found the shearing sheds that I use to visit interesting places to capture photos, and although I had no idea in what I was doing, the pictures that where produced from these sheds are still some of my favourites.

When I was even younger, my sister, brother and I, use to play chasey along the top of the wool bails. Then as I got older, I learnt how to rouse-about, though I was never much good at it, and was only asked to help when the contractor was absolutely desperate...which was rarely. When I was living here I couldn't wait to get out of this town, and I did, as soon as I finished school I moved to Brisbane. I rarely visited J-town during my time there, and found my self missing the simple things that I may have taken for granted whilst I was living in the country... Since moving to Canberra however, I seem to make it back every couple of months or more. Its a good balance to have an I enjoy photos of the landscape in the country, rather then the built up suburbs of Canberra.ย
