Jerome was actually inspired by the lead singer of Love, Arthur Lee. Jerome plays like, 14 different instruments that everyone wants to touch. And Cletus is one of my older ocs-- He's an ex Vietnam wartime deserter (fragged his officer) and satanist from the 70s. He grew up in Texas and lives his life on the road!

He does! Shockingly! He's tentatively friends with everyone in his dinky, little frat house... They'll do things together as a group, play games, cook, hang out around town... It makes Ashton feel all warm and fuzzy
Although Ashton may follow his own schedule and does whatever he wants, whenever he wants-- sometimes that includes Spencer (whether Spencer really wants to or not).
Spencer is kind of a self-regretting pushover, which makes him the perfect friend and accomplice for Ashton :)
