I swear I’ll get around to drawing the new characters at some point. These episodes have just had me floored by these spot-on character reprisals.

I am in love with the speed that blending tools allow.

I am starting to experiment with layer masks and I’m liking the potential it has for things like handling colors. I colorized my 7 of 9/Annika pencil drawing ( https://dot-m-dot.tumblr.com/post/612297814097231872 ) to play around with the colors. Because I have different masks for the highlights, mid-tones and shadows, I have a good bit of control over how colors transition to others.

I may use this with other older pictures I’ve done, and will certainly incorporate this with my tool of tricks moving forward.
