There’s still a part of me that likes comparing Wu Di to Maverick. It’s unavoidable when it comes to fighter jet movies I think?
Obviously Wu Di is a bit older than Maverick in the first movie so he’d have the experience and age to be less of a showboat than Maverick. He DOES perform a maneuver right out of “Top Gun” which I found to be absolutely hilarious, especially since it was followed up with the American female pilot commenting that he was “cute”. I agree.
I should see the newest Top Gun movie because Maverick is probably closer to Wu Di’s age (though he might now be older, ahaha) so it might be a bit more fair. That said, I love that Wu Di is playful. I think if given half a chance, he could be a good mentor for Maverick of course, if circumstances totally allowed for it.

Li Chen is absolutely adorable in “Lets Get Married”. It’s a cute romantic movie that I think is really good for Valentine’s Day and a large part of his storyline took place in Italy, which is considered one of the most romantic destinations on the planet.
