Would it be a jinx to state at this time that it seems spring has sprung after a very mild winter season? If so, then many local folks are jumping the gun with their preparation for warmer weather, especially now that Daylight Savings Time has returned to extend our evenings by an hour. Plus, here in the Upper Ohio Valley, ‘tis the season for campaigns as primary election days are scheduled for March 17 in Ohio and on May 12 in West Virginia, and it’s also the time when renovations take place at homes and at local businesses. It’s no longer a secret to anyone who lives here or is a native planning a homecoming – the Wheeling area is under construction, and unfortunately, that means some projects are left foolishly, and dangerously, unfinished. This is a glimpse at our Upper Ohio Valley.
