Enjoy the flavors of summer with these delicious Sweet Maple Barbecue Chicken Kabobs. The combination of maple syrup, barbecue sauce, and a touch of Dijon mustard creates a sweet and savory glaze that's perfect for grilling. These kabobs are a crowd-pleaser and make for a delightful summer meal.
Ingredients: 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts. 1/2 cup maple syrup. 1/4 cup barbecue sauce. 2 tablespoons soy sauce. 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard. 1 clove garlic, minced. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1/4 teaspoon black pepper. 1 red bell pepper, cut into chunks. 1 green bell pepper, cut into chunks. 1 red onion, cut into chunks. Wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes.
Instructions: Soy sauce, maple syrup, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper should all be mixed together in a bowl with a whisk to make the marinade. Put the chicken breasts in a shallow dish or a plastic bag that can be closed again and again. Put the chicken in the fridge for at least an hour, or better yet, overnight. Seal the bag or cover the dish and pour the marinade over the chicken. Set your grill to medium-high heat and oil the grate so that food doesn't stick. On the wet wooden skewers, alternately thread pieces of chicken marinated in a sauce, red bell pepper, green bell pepper, and red onion. Put the kabobs on a grill that has already been heated up. Cook for 10 to 12 minutes, turning them over once in a while, until the chicken is cooked all the way through and has a nice char. While the kabobs are cooking on the grill, baste them with any extra marinade to make them taste better. You can take the kabobs off the grill and let them rest for a while. If you want, you can add more barbecue sauce to the Sweet Maple Barbecue Chicken Kabobs before serving them hot.
