okay so Jerry yeah?? You know how everyone is like goddammit Jerry came along. So, even tho he acts like he doesn't give a shit, he's probably kinda sad and lonely yeah?? So he does what most other sad and lonely monsters do. Watch Mettaton's show. Because what else are you supposed to do at home on your couch alone. And Mettaton, he obviously has this thing where all his fans are beautiful and great, so Jerry feels just a little bit better abt himself??

So one day he gets a ticket to see one of Mettaton's shows?? and he actually gets to talk to Mettaton because Mettaton is nice like that sometimes, and Jerry tries like super hard to impress Mettaton but Mettaton is just like, darling you need to be yourself because you're beautiful just the way you are, and Jerry does a sad because what the heck nobody likes him if he's himself so MTT feels bad and decides, I'm gonna get you some ice cream and you're gonna cheer up and realize how great you are.

Miraculously, Mettaton really doesn't give a shit about how weird and gross Jerry can be because Jerry seems easygoing and friendly and Mettaton actually really likes the guy?? And obvs he tells him because he's Mettaton, being dramatic and open is kind of his thing. And Jerry is just?? so flattered? so they spend more time together and they actually really hit it off and even though distance is a bitch, when they see each other they're both super happy and at some point Jerry moves to hotland and they live together happily uwu
