I just want to say something very important. I believe there is a God. I don't know all the answers about God and stuff. I wholeheartedly believe the ultimate way for me to bring myself closer to God is by spreading a message of nonviolence.
The reason why I am writing this is because these lyrics that I seem to champion could be interpreted to carry a message of violence.
It is not wrong to interpret that reading of the text. The message I want to express is the celebration of Dirty Bert's poetic genius and to also spread the message of nonviolence. I promise you Dirty Bert is not a violent man.
I think the message of this song is that the pitfalls of addiction and poverty can cause someone to make mistakes.

Yes, you read that correctly, my YouTube channel is the source of this material! Fantasy Record Label is making moves, albeit confusing moves.
"In The Eyes Of An Outlaw" is a song by Jerzey Mob from the album Mixtape, Vol. 1. I think, officially, the album is by "Various Artists," and the album title is Jerzey Mob: Mixtape, Vol. 1. This is confusing.
There is something I must tell you. This series on Dirty Bert I am writing is the result of another series I want to write. The other series I want to write is "The Best Of Outlaw Recordz."
The previous song I posted "Outlaw Thang" is also on the same album.
Jerzey Mob: Mixtape, Vol. 1 by Various Artists was released August 28, 2001.

Here are my four favorite moments from Dirty Bert's verse on "In The Eyes Of An Outlaw":

Allow me to take a moment to say something that some might find unexpected: The most valuable commodity in this world is the pursuit of non-violence.

This reminds me of a time when I was trying to get a new job. I am also trying to get a new job at the present time. This other time I was trying to get a job was in Reno, Nevada. I got some information about a company that was looking to hire some people at the state office for employment. They had a bunch of people waiting around in this room at a long table for their turns to be interviewed. I was waiting for some time. These two guys were talking to each other a lot and everybody slowly figured out that they both just got out of jail. When one of the guys was called to be interviewed, someone asked the remaining guy how he was doing. He was the older of the two guys who just got out of jail. He responded, "It's all bad." I ended up leaving before it was my turn to be interviewed because I was waiting for so long that I was running out of time before my next appointment.

It's true. I would settle for "Mad Thousands."

I like how at the end of this song Napoleon says he is about to "go spend some time with a stripper."

New Jersey's Dirty Bert rapped the preceding words on the 2000 album by the Outlawz called Ride Wit Us Or Collide Wit Us.
Over here at Fantasy Record Label I am going to be celebrating Dirty Bert's fascinating Hip-hop career. The first song is "Murder Made Easy." This was the last song on what I consider to be the first Outlawz album. Of course the album Still I Rise came out first. On the other hand, Still I Rise is considered a collaboration between 2Pac and the Outlawz.
There is only one member of the Outlawz on "Murder Made Easy." That would be EDI. In case you don't know, He is the rapper who is talking about "Catching people at stop lights, and doing what's not right." His verse is close to the end of the song. The rest of the rappers are all guys who were considered to be the nucleus of Jerzey Mob. That would be Akwalla, Smooth, Trife, and Dirty Bert.

"Barely Sleep" appears on the 2010 Dirty Bert solo album Broke Novels.
I uploaded this song to YouTube because I love this music. I was shocked that I was able to find a song that was not on YouTube. Now, when anybody wants to hear some good Dirty Bert music they can listen to this gem.
Broke Novels is the name of the album. During this song, Dirty Bert uses the phrase "Broke Novels." I don't know what he means by this phrase. On the album cover, there appears to be a picture of a bookshelf with a bunch of old paperbacks. If I was from Jersey I would know what this phrase means. Perhaps I would know the meaning of this phrase if I had been incarcerated more often
