This says it all. Speaking up and calling out BS is in our DNA, and I would not have it any other way. I often find people who say that me and many of my Jerz/NY cohorts are "mean" have just never encountered honesty in their lives.

Honesty is always better than bullshit.

Hurting me with the truth is always better than misleading me with a lie.

Speaking up is always, ALWAYS better than complacency.

Standing up for yourself, and those who can't stand up for themselves is never an option.

There is a difference between being nice and being kind. I've never aimed to be "nice." I've never raised the children in my family to be "nice." I've raised them to be kind but take no shit and always stand up for what you know is right. PERIOD.

We're not for everyone, and we don't care... because we don't want to be.

(But I disagree w/ Jojo... It's not pronounced "jerz," it's "jer-Z" lol sorry, we always state our opinions. She'd respect that.)
