Jesse is the wandering nephew of one Jack Dalton. An Eagle Scout who was on the path to going into the military like all the men in his family. On the day he was supposed to sign up, he vanished. It would only be a couple of months later that his uncle would find him. Only now the kid had VW van, a German Shepherd puppy, and an uncanny ability at always finding work no matter where he went.

Fast forward a few years later and Jesse gets a call to come to Los Angeles, that his uncle needs his help. A couple of missions later, Jesse wonders if he has finally found his calling. After all, a work day at the Phoenix Foundation is never boring.
