The Raven Boys: Interactive Book Round-up

I hope everyone had a good Christmas and New Year. Mine was especially crazy this year and I’m having a little trouble catching up with things, partly because I pulled a muscle in my back a couple of weeks ago and partly because I have a slight addiction to projects.

Anyway, a group of friends and I decided to do a secret Santa with a twist, using @franuary‘s fabulous Interactive Book idea. The wonderful @jessidee was my secret Santa and made me an Interactive Book version of The Raven Boys. I live blogged the first 7 gifts here but ended up breezing so fast through the rest that I decided to catch up with this post.

I absolutely loved this book, especially the characters - Blue and the boys and Blue’s crazy extended family. I just loved all their chemistry, dialogue and passion! The interactive element was just perfect, a mix of literal things that made me feel a part of what was happening and visuals, especially the little car!

I’ve already brought the next two books, which I’ve started and will get the fourth soon. To fans of fantasy I highly recommend this book!

I’ve finally met the famous Adam and Gansey! And this car is too cute :D

This is my favourite new kiss! People outside the UK, Emmerdale is this utterly ridiculous soap set in the countryside and recently they’ve had a new storyline which is very similar to the plot of While You Were Sleeping. I’m absolutely loving it and I’m shipping it hard! For people who enjoy great first kisses watch this video :D
