So let's talk Jesus
So tonight I watched Passion of the Christ for about the third time, and every single time I watch it, I turn into a huge slobbery mess. This year, I have grown in my faith more and more, and to watch this and know that Jesus suffered SO MUCH for us, it opened my eyes. I've known that Jesus died for our sins but it's been said so many times in my life that I don't really pay attention to it as much as I should. It's just an absolute fact. However, this movie refreshed my mind and heart to how much Jesus sacrificed for me. To know that He loved us so much that He was willing to be whipped with atrocious-looking weapons and to carry a cross afterwards and to be NAILED to it. It's just so unbelievable that He would go through all that because He loves me. To suffer so much for me. And I take it for granted. Like what I give back to Him is anywhere equal to what He has done for me. It makes me realize that it's so stupid how I put school before God or complain about some superficial thing when Jesus never complained about the pain he had. I need to put Jesus first always and forever. I LOVE JESUS!!!❤️ But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8 Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you. Love one another.
