microwavable jesus reviews
me: so, basically trans women are women who were assigned men at birth, but are really women. are you tracking?
jesus christ, who i brought into the modern day and am forcing to help me with cargo at work: What's a Potato Salad
this was a difficult part in wisdom's daughters that i'm reading as i'm starting to read it because i had that angry urge to go "PETER DIDN'T DESERT JESUS!" but like...the three times peter betrayed jesus before he died and his insane guilt around it. and i remembered. oh. nobody but one of the john's and the women around him stayed consistently with jesus. the WOMEN were consistently with jesus. women, especially to us fgc quakers, are an important vessel of christ's message and spirituality, and that's why i'm so drawn to quaker interpretations of christianity in the first place, because the marginalized (in gender, in race, in class, in sexuality, in disability), they are CONSISTENTLY centered as a GIFT that god has given and not a defect that god will fix once we are in heaven or an inherent sin against god's creation.
to god, we are all sinners, yes, but none of us are sinning by being alive, by being ourselves.
and that's the beauty of the friends.
who are these freaks??
“God created things which had free will. That means creatures which can go wrong or right. Some people think they can imagine a creature which was free but had no possibility of going wrong, but I can't. If a thing is free to be good it's also free to be bad. And free will is what has made evil possible. Why, then, did God give them free will? Because free will, though it makes evil possible, is also the only thing that makes possible any love or goodness or joy worth having. A world of automata - of creatures that worked like machines - would hardly be worth creating. The happiness which God designs for His higher creatures is the happiness of being freely, voluntarily united to Him and to each other in an ecstasy of love and delight.” C.S. Lewis
4, 3, & 27 for the ask game :)

3. What playlists do you have on your phone?
sadly none anymore. i used to use spotify but now i don’t for various reasons. also, i’m gonna be so honest, my phone doesn’t have space for music anymore 😅 my poor iPhone 11 is shitting the bed daily and can barely keep up with the amount of photos i like to take oops. but i did have a funny playlist i named “songs to shake my ass to” so have some songs from that!
4. Do you like cooking or baking more?
i sadly did not get the baking gene that my mom passed on to my sibling. like, it completely skipped me somehow? i got the negative version that makes me fail every from scratch thing i try to bake so badly that it becomes a health hazard to try my baking. i can get fancy with from a box stuff tho! but cooking might have to be my choice here. i’ve been learning how to cook better and have found that i think cooking is a love language for me so that’s fun.
27. 3 things you love about yourself.
ah fuck it had to be this one didn’t it? okay let’s see
-i love my strength. not physical strength but more emotional strength i guess? i’m just proud of myself for finally being able to leave a toxic relationship/environment and that took a lot of strength on my end. i didn’t do it alone but i had to be the one to pull the metaphorical trigger, you know?
-i love my creativity. just because i can’t make myself put anything out into the world right now doesn’t mean i’m not creative (is what i keep telling myself) and i just love being able to express myself creatively in different ways be that through writing, drawing, clothing, makeup, whatever it may be!
-i love how i love. does that make sense? i’ve noticed i have different ways of showing my love for someone and it’s just cool to see that i can express that feeling outside of just saying i love you. i can go get someone’s food if they’re sitting down, grab an extra straw, surprise someone with a cake when they get home from work. i don’t know, this sounds like a shit answer but…it’s been nice seeing how many ways you can show love for someone in the small ways that may not be obvious.
