Hey! I just wanted to say that I've just finished reading your Coraline au and, ughh, it was so good. I cried so much. Your style is absolutely beautiful. I want to read more of your work now and I have a little question, if you don't mind. Is there a particular reason you write more about a platonic TodoDeku relationship?
I’m glad you liked the Coraline AU!
By the wording of your question, I’m not sure if you’re asking why I write more platonic Tododeku in Coraline AU specifically, or just in general. In Coraline AU specifically I toned down the romance because Izuku and Shouto are both pretty young in the fic, thirteen and twelve respectively. And while I know that kids can get crushes and even have relationships at that age, it’s not something I’m comfortable with writing. Personally I’d classify it as puppy love, or even pre-relationship, but since they’re pretty young and more concerned with soul-eating fox demons I didn’t want to go super deep in the romance.
As for my BNHA fanfics in general, most of the stories that focus on Izuku and Shouto’s relationship are, in fact, romantic, or at least are planned to be romantic. Just going by tags, I have 24 stories using the ‘/’ relationship tag for romantic, while 13 use the ‘&’ relationship tag for platonic. In fact, I probably have fewer than 13 platonic Tododeku fics, because I know for a couple of them I used both ‘/’ and ‘&’ tags for some reason when they’re really just romantic.
So I don’t really write more about platonic Tododeku than I do romantic Tododeku, and usually there’s no particular reason for it when I do. Sometimes I just feel like writing about their friendship. With Yesterday Upon the Stair in particular I actually waffled a lot on whether or not to make them romantic, but in the end I decided to give writing a queerplatonic relationship a shot, which I’d never tried before. It’s been fun to explore, and I’m glad I did it!
Tododeku is one of those pairings that I just want to see together, no matter how. I do favor romance between them, but I also get a lot of joy out of seeing them being friends, caring about each other and spending time together in any capacity.
Hope this answers your question!
I would like to thank not only God. But Jesus😇

you made me so worried now >.<
worry not my friend, it’s gonna be fine, there has to be some drama before the final episode but still... that cliffhanger (and some other things) pissed me off BAD
