comic idea i had for post loop jet but didnt want to draw the whole thing, so i just drew the punch-line... haha,,,, get it

context/sad jet lore under the cut:

i think jet would be close with gossan, especially after fluor dies. buuut, fluor dies only a year or so before the loops start, and then jet has to mourn and deal with that guilt at the same time they have to deal with the universe dying, and deal with finding the seed on timber hearth knowing that the same thing that took their best friend would have taken their home and everyone they love too even if there wasnt a supernova. and after finding feldspar, realizing they lived when they crashed in dark bramble, but fluor didnt.

and post loop, miraculously getting a second chance, they spend a while after just running around, running themself ragged trying to fix everything and help everyone, including getting feldspar from the bramble and figuring out and executing a plan to get rid of the bramble seed

and people trying to stop them from doing all these stunts because they wont "just trust me and trust that i know what im doing" bc of silly things like "being worried" and "not knowing whats going on" are really inconvenient for them

rolling scizzors is a deeply intimate form of WVR dogfighting to me. two silver streaks circling eachother in the blue sky like two distinguished women dancing alone in a ballroom, twirling around and around until either they break off or one gets their nose on the other. the pilots in their cockpits both straining to manage their energy just a little better than the other, a close race where losing means death for the jet on the defensive.

this took me months, 3 drawing program switches (and subsequent almost losing/corrupting the whole almost finished file), many in-game field research expeditions, and honestly more literature review than i expected to make, but by jove if i cant go way too hard infodumping botanical and biochemical information to make a speculative biology "thesis" for no reason, then what can i do

jet is great at giving hornfels a permenant headache, dark bramble isnt off limits for them per se... but its very, extremely, strongly discouraged. so this is a solution that kinda works for everyone (?)

heres jet, my idiot biochemist owv traveler oc who has a particularly strong interest in researching dark bramble and ghost matter, and got hatchy and gabbro to bring them into the loops bc they were worried about them
