The mother of Eli and the wife of Will Shane, Meng Yao (nicknamed Honey) is a very headstrong woman and determined to not let her family get into peril. Upon Will's disappearance, Honey left Eli in Jimmo's care and descended into Slugterra. She was determined to find her husband before Eli turned 15 and set himself in the face of danger. In the underground, she took up the identity of a bounty hunter, Ms Slinger. While duel welding blasters, she and her partner slug, Jetstream the Hoverbug, took down many criminals, making the mere mention of her name strike fear into evil hearts.
She'd find herself at a 'failure' to find Will to bring back to her son safe and sound. She teams up with the Shane Gang in hopes of taking down Dr Blakk, Tad and Twist whilst still hunting down her lost husband.
