basically i think the thing that the shadowbosses Know is the full prophecy because of how prophecy-oriented gerson and jevil’s characters are (+ spamton explicitly references it with like the tenna check txt) and occam’s razor, especially since the shadow crystal arc seems to be coming to an end next chapter. the alternative explanation (were shown that they’re fictional characters) is, like many hot topics in deltarune, an outdated holdover from when we didn’t know about the prophecy thing that people refuse to question or let go of. i’d like to be more confident in this take but i need to yk, revisit the source material before that

ranking dr plushies from best to worst off appearance (i don’t own any):

- lancer. his character design is well suited for a marketable plush. this is his true form

- ralsei (both but especially the hatless one). he’s also marketable and the toy overall looks nice

- spamton. it’s ugly because he’s ugly. toby was so right in making him the prime example of characters it’s okay for them to make objectifying merch of in that one post. perfect for comical mutilation

- tenna. he’s like spamton but less ugly, yet somehow worse. please fix the head-to-body ratio. other than that i actually like the details

- jevil almost looks like a knockoff plush. then again, in my head a faithful jevil toy would be a creepy old clown plush and not a mass produced item from a small video game merch store

- seam has a similar issue to jevil except worse because they’re canonically the raggedy, beloved plush of a kid that’s in college now. imbw because im only going off photos, but they look less fuzzy than ralsei which also sucks
