Court of Hearts Updates

howdy, it’s been a while! been working really hard on making the jevil dating sim into a reality and wanted to share some progress! all of this is also available in the Court of Hearts Discord Server (16+)

there were a lot of bugs squashed within the past couple of months. a couple of them being:

lancer always being front and center no matter what

ralsei and seam defying the laws of physics

jevil screams whenever on screen, yes this is real

a majority of those bugs have been fixed thankfully. the screaming bug took forever to patch :(

biggest update so far is that there are now multiple routes in the game, so there are multiple endings

i’m aware that deltarune as a game is meant to only have one ending, but keep in mind that this is a dating sim about kissing a stinky jester

anyhoo, there are also some new sprites jevil has as you can see too, as well as new background assets!

finally, i wanted to share these doodles i sketched down right before my surgery.

i wanted to remember them so i drew them like shit before i could forget. i have a bunch more but this one is the funniest

that’s really all i gotta say for now! just wanted to give an update on the game incase anyone was curious!

it’s been taking a while because of a couple factors…

remission for my chronic illness has ended and flare ups have caused a couple hospitalizations. and i’m going to be moving across the country in may

i’m not sure about when a release date will be for the full game, but for the first chapter i’d say around april or may!

i may have to see if there are others willing to help with the project but it’s being cowritten by @creampuff-k1tty so it’s definitely not a one person job!

the biggest holdback project wise is lack of background artwork and my fear that the plot is weak or not fitting
