regarding your dsod question: one thing that really bothers me about the retcon on ryou's dad is how millennium world even happened now! ryou built the final rpg tabletop in the back of the domino museum, which he only had access to due to his dad's position there. if his dad is dead, where did he get the resources to do this? tho i agree it was interesting to actually see shadi's death after years of it just being mentioned off-hand

I forgot to mention that part too! But yes. By doing this, the Millennium World would not have been a thing at all. Then again, it was stated that his father “owned” a museum so perhaps it would be passed down to him in time as soon as he was old enough and would have access, but that’s stretching it just to meet the perimeters of the movie.

one of my greatest mistakes is listening to the blck tapes, and tanis as my first real delving into fiction podcasts because now i have exorbitantly high expectations for serials and so far nothing has lived up
