Randam Hajile is, at least in my interpretation and with the evidence given in SD Snatcher, one of my ideal fav character archetypes... just a good, moral guy, brave, self-sacrificial, (gay, but obvs that’s just me projecting), and like, there really isn’t a good reason for him to be such a solid dude considering his life circumstances but somehow still he found it within himself to be a better person??
and I LOVE how he’s set up to be the asshole rival type but like, aside from some very light-hearted teasing at first he never is like. mean??? the next time you see him you see he’s just??? a nice guy?? the kinda guy who SO badly wants to project that ‘devil may cry’ attitude but who absolutely isn’t above stealing an amusement park panda costume because he’s cold to sneak into an enemy lair undetected while you, the jackass protag, get lost in a complicated fucking maze and have to fight a ton of evil robots
but he can also can snap your neck in a heartbeat if you turned out to be a Snatcher
