What is a favorite fandom headcanon for you?

One of mine is that Marinettes parents find out about Gabriel being a shit parent and basically get Marinette to make them super hero costumes and Adrian to let them in the house and then they get to beat some sense into Gabriel about what actual parenting is.

hmmm i think one of my favourite fandom headcanons has always been ladybug and chat noir falling in love when they're older. maybe it's just projection as a 20 year old but i like the idea of them going through all the toils and confusion of being teenagers and once they learn more about themselves and about growing up they realise that the person they've trusted and loved so wholeheartedly all these years is also the person they want to be with 🥺

yeah jfjdjd okay Story Time. it’s not that interesting BUT

i was in girl scouts and we decided it’d be cool to go to the chesapeake bay to learn about light houses. and by we, i mean the scout leaders bc us children were like….10 years old? or younger. i cant keep track of time. at any rate, we gave two shits short of a fuck about light houses so clearly it wasn’t actually our idea

when we finally got there the light house people were like ‘just so you know the Fucking President of the United States is gunna be here later bc we suck at planning and we double booked the place. we told the White House about it but like……what’re they going to do? kick out a bunch of girl scouts??? from a light house trip they’d had planned for Months? ? For a FISH??’

apparently it’d be a bad look. which is Fair. so they allowed us to stay. for the most part, things went on as we’d planned. it was fine. There were secret service agents lurking about the premises. But it was fine.

HOWEVER, the next morning the light house people were like ‘hey kids!!! we talked with the White House and got you seats for the bill signing’.

after listening to the lecture for about half an hour about why we shouldn’t be embarrassing and about how we needed to respect the bush woman (I don’t remember which) we were walked single file from the light house, to the people from the white house.

There was green astroturf or whatever on top of real grass, which was fucking weird but whatever. we took our seats and listened to the bill signing and saw Bush get up and speak. it was a bill about red fish or something. i really dont remember too much except that they needed to Be Protected and Bush was very emphatic about it. so we kind of just sat there awkwardly in the back row, sweating, and trying to look Proper for Barbara bush or whomever —-who didn’t even show up btw– and that was that. I thought it was over.

But on our way to our activity after that, one of the scout moms sees Bush about a football field away from us and just…just starts fucking SCREAMING. like,,,jumping up and down and yelling. And Uh, lemme tell u a thing. the Secret Service did not like that. I see the two closest to Bush start stomping towards us, and meanwhile this woman is still screaming, and suddenly there is movement from the peripheral and there’s a secret service guy there coming in fast. this was over a decade ago but i still remember bush yelling something like 'STOP’ and the agents stop but look at us. A bunch of 10 year olds. AS if we’re the next greatest threat to the Nation.

but Bush ends up calling us over and is like “photo??????”

and all we know is that scary men in black suits were running towards us but now they aren’t and now we’re next to the president who is Important. and so we get corralled into something like a two row line and suddenly I have bush’s hand on my shoulder and someone is snapping photos and his hand is sort of heavy and then he squeezes it once in like the way you do when you’re saying bye. But im scared shitless bc this is the guy my mom and dad wont stop arguing about and also he’s Important. So I almost fall over. and then he’s whisked away without another word and someone tells us they’ll send us the photos later.

and i get one. and my name is spelled wrong and im smiling like an awkward weirdo.
