OOOH THAT SOUNDS SO FUN!! modern day au where rocks' candy company is like as big as hershey and calroy is a spy sent from a neighboring cake shop or smth that wants the secrets of their recipes and also maybe thinks it would be fun to overthrow caramelinda as ceo and take over for monetary reasons. can you imagine calroy cruller, local cake artist, spending TWENTY YEARS working at this company that he hates and climbing high enough that he's almost the ceo but isn't quite there yet. and GOD amethar and cara being like "yeah our daughters are gonna take over when we're gone :)"
this is such a fun idea to run with like. what was the war in this universe? was it a literal lawsuit or something between companies?? what's the church?? does all the stuff about candy being too sugary become a literal reason for them to try to shut down the candy company?? why is this so intriguing to me???? idk but i love this wholeheartedly
