I would like to get further info on this. Like how did they come to these conclusions?
How deep in the theological rabbit hole am I going to end up up?
But this is pretty important because there are few implications of this is true:
1. There is no God. He is just an evolved concept. Or…
2. There are many gods. In which case our God is either the greatest god and others are real spiritual entities but not to be worshipped because they are inferior and evil. Or…
3. The other gods may actually be better than our God but he does not want you to know that because he is a jealous god.
These are all pretty profound concepts for my personal belief system so I need to get to the root of this.
Up to this day I have believed there is only one God and all other gods are not rea. This would completely change my attitude toward the numerous deities worshipped in Ghana (where I live).
