gil-ho was surprised when he saw the cigarette between your lips, his eyebrows raising in confusion as he watches you blow out the smoke.

“now whats this?” he muttered to himself, his eyes on you as he makes his way over. you didn’t notice him until he was right in front of you, which had startled you a bit.

“get that shit out of your mouth.” gil-ho said while snatching the cigarette out of your mouth, looking down at you as if you were crazy. if only he could see himself. “jesus you scared me, you didn’t call out to me or anything!”

as surprised as you were, all you could do was scoff, watching as he placed the cigarette between his lips. you watched as he puffed on it, taking in the expression on his face as he blows it out, a small smirk tugging the corner of his lips.

“whats the point of this hm? i can’t smoke, but you can? come on..” you said with a tone of annoyance, unable to do nothing about it and watching as he playfully rolls his eyes.

“it’s not that you can’t.” he sighs out, letting the smoke flow out of his lungs as he does so. you would cross your arms as you watched him discard it, making sure to stomp out the flame before turning back to you. “then what? it’s just a cigarette, i don’t get what the big deal is?” you said while looking up at him, clearly upset.

he couldn’t stand you looking at him like that, especially when he loves you the most. he would do anything to protect you, even if it meant smoking your cigarettes, saving you in the future

he pulls you closer before you could say another word, wrapping his arms around your waist as he gives you an unexpected kiss.

after a few seconds you would both pull away with a soft pop of each others lips, a faint blush fallen on both of your faces as you both stare at each other.

“that’s so unfair, you can’t just do that everytime i’m upset.” you tried to argue but this would only make him laugh, which only made you feel more flustered.

“why not? you seemed to enjoy it.” you would only roll your eyes at his response, hitting his arm playfully. “okay fine.. the truth is that you really don’t need them.” you looked at him sideways as if he was crazy for making that statement, especially since he smoked almost the entire thing in front of you.

“don’t give me that face, i know what’s on your mind.” he said while leaning down in front of you. a small distance away from your lips as he stares down into your eyes, nearly getting a glimpse into your soul. it was beautiful and pure to him, he would do anything to preserve it.

“you don’t need this toxicity inside your lungs, if you need that,.. just look at the world around you and come back to me.” and with that, something about the way he said it, stuck to you like glue.

although it was a bit corny, you thought about it for a bit. a loud silence fallen between the two of you, he really just cared about you, and it made your heart swell for him even more.

you didn’t waste any more time before pulling him into a kiss, this one more heated than earlier.

the amount of things you would do for this man was highly concerning… And he would absolutely do the same for you.

“so you’re not mad anymore?” he would ask once you pulled away from him, giving him a soft smile.

“no, and i don’t think i need these, i was just curious to try it but i don’t think i’ll really need them… since i have you.” you would say while looking up at him, the look in your eyes is something he always adored, he never wanted it to end.

“oh yeah, well i don’t think i need them either.”
