Second Genshin character I worked on last year -- though I first teased her in a previous entry, I finally nailed down more details about her, including a human name!
Those familiar with Liyue’s lore in Genshin Impact will know how many adepti are called by their title -- so Mist Unveiler is how she’s known and usually addressed. But, her chosen name when she walks as a human is Jiangwu, and she’s quite fond of it too (Think, Cloud Retainer = Xianyun).
She’s based on the Huli jing fox spirit, and is also the mother of my other two adepti siblings, Shuili and Huojin. Also, I wrote hydro catalyst up there, but I’ve considered changing her to a bow -- purely from a game-unit meta perspective; she likely knows how to use both.
