What are your thoughts on the whole “where is destiel real” debocal? Do you think Jensen was actually angry or was he just joking around

I was in the panel room at the time. I can assure you he was joking around.

I actually had a long chat with the girl who was wearing the “destiel is real” shirt that started that whole thing. She was lovely and before the panel she had already had an op with Jensen and Misha, where Jensen purposely pointed out her shirt with a huge grin, and gave her this big hug and was just the most kind and gracious about it. I remember her saying that she was nervous about his reaction but she had been surprised at how cheerful and how much the shirt seemed to delight him. It made her really happy.

So then, when she asked the question, both Jensen and Misha would have recognised her and remembered the top from her cockles op. So the fact that Misha brought it up again was mucking around, and the way Jensen teased her about it was all part of his grumpy act. They had both already met the girl, knew how nervous she was about it, had reassured her and made her feel totally comfortable and validated, and then they brought it up in the panel to joke around with it in a playful way.

Jensen 100% didn’t mean anything malicious with the whole act. He was playing with the crowd, doing his usual grumpy old man act whilst simultaneously encouraging everyone to cheer louder.
