“ji… jihoon.”

he looked at seungkwan with new, unobstructed eyes upon hearing him; his skin was off in color, his chest rose and fell with the slightest effort. it was such a small detail that jihoon wouldn’t’ve seen it mere moments ago.

that specific thought makes him a little queasy, always thrown off by how easy it is for him to get lost in his own needs—the descent into near madness much easier under a fast, painful onslaught, that of which he barely made it through. he’ll always harbor a sizeable amount of guilt about how the fervent thirst engulfs him; though it was only ever occasionally so strong so suddenly, that guilt echoed in his head as he watched seungkwan stifle a quiet groan, either too tired or simply unable to finish his unnecessary ask.

jihoon understood long before he attempted to speak, wordlessly shooting up and out of the bedroom and returning so fast that seungkwan didn’t get the chance to miss his polar weight beside him.

jihoon runs to open the message as fast as he can, sitting back down in his chair in record time, only narrowly avoiding spilling water all over himself. 

he opens the notification, smiling around his drink, and reads the oddly separated text.
