Thank you for the tag, sweet @isahorcrux!
This tag apparently asks you to share seven sentences from a WIP. I'll include a bit (6 sentences, sorry!) from the next chapter of Deerstalking: A Staggard Wild, though I am working on this new Jily 1970s NI AU that I'm really excited about.
Tagging @chdarling @theresthesnitch, and @annabtg, if they would like to participate.
Deerstalking: ASW excerpt:
Evans scurried in five minutes after class started. Her hair was, unusually, piled on top of her head in a messy bun. James was so preoccupied by Peter’s plight that he almost didn’t notice the long and graceful lines of Lily’s neck exposed by this change. He almost did not see the smattering of goosebumps raise along her shoulder as the autumn breeze blew in through an ajar window. He almost didn’t even think about what it would be like to lean forward and press his lips to that soft skin just behind her ear.
