1973 Baltimore Christmas Parade
Hampden neighborhood, Baltimore, Maryland
My Dad passed away this year. He was the inspiration for me to take up photography. I've inherited a massive collection of his slides that I plan to scan in over time. I started a Tumblr to display his work. Mostly photos from Baltimore and NYC in the 70s and 80s. Follow it if you are into that stuff.
Happy D-Day to Eisenhower and Kay Summersby for becoming the most scandalizing thing to happen in WW2 in the eyes of Jim Gavin. Kay, you should have signed him a personal copy of your book and given him the finger, after all you did move to NJ after the war.
Jim, I don't know how you have so much time for your Ike/Kay obsession with all your own affairs, diary, letters, division, driving all over the place, walking and dinner with Matt, in and out of foxholes of all varieties, and everything else you seem to do.
Like how you are also having an affair with your chauffer.
I hope Ike and Kay had a swell time together the before D-Day!
