Interesting story about a former slave named William Key who bought an Egyptian Arabian ex-circus horse named Lauretta and bred her to a thoroughbred by Hambletonian, producing a colt named Jim Key. Jim Key learned so many tricks such as counting change, using the phone, telling time, spelling, etc that the two went on tour. They were a big hit and William Key made millions of dollars and also got an offer for Jim Key for a million dollars, which he refused. William Key was famous for his patient training methods, the American Humane Society made Jim Key one of their ambassadors.

This is a beautiful story, and the video is worth watching.
