Luan Chagas finally gets first UFC win! Subs Judo Wallhead in 2nd!
Chagas drops and RNCs Wallhead in an impressive performance. Best he's ever looked. Fought way less frenetic than in his first two UFC appearances and didn't gas as a result. Still kept up a really high pace, but wasn't loading up on shots and blitzing. Instead, he was angling off of Wallhead's punches and sticking him with counters. Really good stuff, especially when he was just flowing with two-three strike combos.

Why is Wallhead wearing gloves with no logo?
Did he like quit the UFC minutes before this fight?
That third round GLADLY makes up for a crappy 1st and 2nd round.
Got it 29-28 Ayari.
Jim Wallhead vs Rodrigo Ribeiro - ADW 2
Now that every hot to trot prospect makes it to the UFC before they hit 10 pro fights, it may seem strange to celebrate someone “finally” making it to the big show. But after 11 years of plugging away in any and every promotion he could squeeze a fight, Jim Wallhead (29-9) is finally fighting in the UFC.
A veteran of Bellator, BAMMA, Cage Warriors, Abu Dhabi Warriors, and KSW, Wallhead has made a steady career as a journeyman fighting all around the world. It’s great to see him finally make the show.
He will be facing fellow UFC newcomer Jessin Ayari (15-3) at UFC Fight Night 93 this Saturday (Sept. 3).
