Okay hi everyone, I'm a relatively new fan of famous artist Ryo Sumiyoshi / Suzuri sensei and over the past 10 months I've been obsessively collecting and traveling the internet for everything related to him and compiled everything in a few days.

I sincerely hope that you find something interesting in here because there's really a lot... from published books to interviews, many many many links and more!!!

It was really fun putting this together and I hope you enjoy it! of course it will have some missing information but I think I did a pretty good job covering the basics to a little more obscure, I'm always opened to suggestions on how to improve it so don't hesitate to reach out.

this is probably my bias talking but i just find it Interesting that you can tell suzuri ryo held himself back from being freakier with the inhuman biology in the one shounen manga he made (ashidaka: the iron hero/tekkai no senshi) and the series clearly got axed before he could delve deeper into the plot and worldbuilding

meanwhile we have MADK where he went "hey you boys want some eroguro throatfucking that eventually culminates into repeating the same cycle of abuse?" and jimba where he went "we are going to amputate these centaurs and also theyre going to be used for sexual relief by the human nobility OBVIOUSLY" and they both explore the harrowing experience of being groomed and dependent on your abuser and it fucks SO hard

Story:

An epic fantasy adventure set in an alternate medieval Japan, where humans co-exist with the mythic half man/half horse beasts known as centaurs, or “jinba”. The centaur race was long revered as deities in ancient times; however, with the advent of the sengoku (warring states) period, humans started to enslave and use them for military purposes due to their speed, stamina, and ability to communicate in human language. Centaurs living in the plains were rapidly subjugated; in contrast, large numbers of centaurs living deep in the mountains were still free due to their relative isolation.

A wild and proud warrior jinba from the mountains named Matsukaze, known as the redheaded rock tiger, is caught while protecting his son. He is traded to a feudal lord and taken to his land. There he meets another centaur, named Kohibari, whose village was burned down as a child. He is a tame centaur, who had his arms amputated when he was captured, and has given up hope of escaping his human captors. If they can get over their differences and work together, they just might be able to return to the wilds as free centaurs."
