Hi dear! If it's not too bold of me to ask, do you have a preferred pen/marker? I'm still just goo-goo over your Kirktober day 2 piece and how beautiful the lines are!! I use Pigma Microns and really like them, but I was just curious what you like to use. 😀 (And if that's too personal or trade-secret-y, I totally understand!) Also can I just say that I LOVE you so much for making Kirktober a thing? 😍😍😍
Hello, friend! I use Copic mulitliners. They're a bit pricier than Micron, and tbh, I haven't used Micron in so long that the only reason i can think of to recommend Copic over Micron is that they won't bleed if you color with Copic markers. (There are other differences, I'm sure, but I can't remember what they are.) Also, if you aren't sure if you'll like Copic very much, get the disposable markers. They're the same as the metal markers, but you can't replace the ink cartridges or nibs, which means they cost less. If, however, you already use Copic, or you're really into inking, I would ABSOLUTELY recommend going straight for the metal markers, as they will save you so much money in the long run. The nibs and cartridges are pretty cheap to replace. Copics, both metal and disposable, come in a ton of amazing sizes and are crisp and clean, as long as the nibs are good!
As for Kirktober, I'm having a lot of fun with it! Even if it will take me into November due to all the other artistic commitments I have on my plate, Haha! Glad you're enjoying it!
