It has taken me a few days to post about the death of Patricia Kennealy-Morrison, aka The Lizard Queen, aka Celtic Priestess and (of course) writer extraordinaire… I don’t claim to know anything much about whatever went down back in the day between Jim, Patricia and Pam, etc., but I DO know that she was a wonderful writer and intriguing person with a good heart, razor sharp wit and deep wisdom about way too many things to list here… We became friends online more than a decade ago, but she also impacted my teenage self when I read her book “Strange Days: My Life With and Without Jim Morrison.” Even if one didn’t know who Jim was (or didn’t care), it is a compelling read and a testament to the kind of love that transcends time and space. Highly recommend. I am still processing this loss, and will miss her perspective and experiencing her unrivaled wit until the end of my own days.. Rest Easy, Queen, and thank you for everything! I don't think I could ever live in a world without having you in my heart, your beautiful poems and your songs to hold onto. You stepped into my life in a moment of depression and changed my life completely. Your legacy, your life and the immense amount of talent you showcased is very much alive in our hearts and will continuesly be, until the end of time. Hearts were shattered, tears were spread, but there isn't a time we don't think of you and for sure there isn't a single day, your poems weren't read or your songs weren't played, no matter where in the world, that's how important and influential you are to mankind. There will never be another one like you, you are rare and unique. Wherever you are I hope that you know that we are grateful for you, for your soul, your mind, your words and your music and that we miss you incredibly and we love you as much as the universe, INFINITE!
