‘What’s in Sherrinford?’

Imperial blue. It suited Mycroft. Everything about it was official, poised, dignified… Pompous.
He seemed to favour the colour, as was reflected in his clothing choices. His ties, his suits. Boring, boring, boring blue. Sometimes he’d throw in a pinstripe, just to throw you off, nothing ever fun though. Where was burnt orange when you needed it (bring back the 70s).
What was odd however, was seeing it on one of Mycroft’s shirts, on the cuff of a shirt to be more precise. Something scrawled in his usual script.
Moriarty leaned in closer, a squint to his eyes and a smile to his lips. “Now what do we have here?”
“It’s none of your business.” That was Mycroft’s usual response to pretty much any question that Moriarty asked and, in his defence, it rarely was any of his business.
He jugged the sleeve of his jacket down a little more so it would cover the writing. When he found himself without paper, or in need of scribbling down a reminder somewhere where he could not possibly ignore it, Mycroft had a bad habit of writing down information on his shirt cuffs. It drove his tailor mad seeing as it meant the eldest Holmes was ruining his shirts on a semi-regular basis, but that wasn’t going to be enough to break the habit.
In this case, it was simply a note reminding Mycroft to phone his mother. James didn’t need to know that, though.

Mycroft looked him up and down for a couple minutes, as if thoroughly analyzing his suit and each part of it. Jim certainly did have a preference for black suits that much was obvious. “Yes. It suits you.”

“I’ll take want over need any day of the week, baby. Say, what’s got you being so nice? You don’t need a favour do you?”
“Me? Need a favour from you? Wherever have you got that idea from, my dear man?”
“That being said, though, there is something you could help me with...”
“You didn’t think I’d just disappear, did you?”

rich-brook:
“Y-yeah, sorry.” he muttered, watching Greg dress himself and feeling thoroughly embarrassed. “It’s something you tend to forget when you’re a twin yourself.” he shrugged.
He eyed the man tying his shoelaces, and a part of him worried that Greg now felt uncomfortable here after that strange introduction with Jim. He moved closer to the man when he stood and reached to hold his fingers.
“You going now then?” he asked quietly. “You– you didn’t get put off, did you?”
Greg had known a day would come where he’d have to meet Richard’s brother. He hadn’t been adverse against it. But it happening like this wasn’t what he had hoped for. And to find out like this that Richard actually had a twin brother made it all even worse.
‘Yeah -- I should if I want to take a shower at work -- change my shirt.’ He had started to bring a spare shirt and pants with him whenever visiting Richard, in case he would stay the night. The next morning, he wouldn’t have to leave at the break of day to get home first to change. Instead he could sleep a bit longer, shower, and leave for work. After all, Conduit Street was a lot closer to Broadway than his flat was.
He felt Richard’s fingers entangle with his, and he gave them a reassuring squeeze. It was a bit of an awkward situation, but he was sure they would laugh about it later.
‘You gonna introduce me properly, then?’ he asked as he ran a hand through his hair in an attempt to brush it down a bit.’
