Summary: A harmless afternoon with your love in the kitchen.
“You put in too much butter,” Seokjin scolded as he looked into the bowl. You were trying to make a chocolate pound cake that your mom had sent you, but apparently you had “put in too much butter”.
You scowled, glaring at him. “Alright genius, you fix it.”
He gripped your shoulder and nudged you off to the side. “Step aside, rookie, let the professional through.” You just continued to glare at him as he proceeded to dump a little bit of the butter down the drain. He set the bowl back down and grabbed the whisk that you had set down. “All better!”
“You could’ve just told me to drain some of the butter.”
He sends you a smile. “Then I wouldn’t have had the chance to embarrass you, now would I?”
You rolled your eyes and threw your hands up. “I give up; I’ma go sit down.” You head out of the kitchen and sat on the sofa where Jungkook was furiously playing his game. “Hey, chewy.” Jungkook just sent you a quick glare which you reply with a wink.
“Why’re you out here?” Jungkook asked.
You groaned and curled up on the couch. “Jin is being rude.”
He rolled his eyes as he completed a mission. “Duh, it’s Jin; you have to be more specific.”
“He always complains about the little things and he doesn’t even let me fix them!” You complained.
Jungkook looked at you with a soft expression. “That sounds pretty deep, (Y/N).”
You just stared at him with a confused expression until you realized you never said anything about baking. “Oh! I meant he complains at the little things I mess up when we cook together, not- oh my god,” you smacked your forehead as you collapsed backwards into the cushions.
Jungkook let out a chuckle and turns back to the TV. “Women.”
You glared at him through the corner of your eyes. “What’s that supposed to mean?” You asked accusingly.
His eyes widened when he realized what he said and paused his game, turning to you with his hands up. “I didn’t mean anything by it, (Y/N), I swear!”
You closed your eyes and continued to lean back. “Whatever, just play your game.”
He pouts but played his game as you just rested there.

Somebody shaking your shoulders made you wake up. Jin stood in front of you, his hands still on your shoulders as he looked into your eyes with a sorrowful look.
“What’s wrong?” You mumbled, rubbing the sleep from your eyes.
“I’m so sorry (Y/N)! I know this was supposed to be a couple’s thing and I made you upset.” He moved his hands to your face and you placed your hands over his. By not feeling any food get on your face, you knew you had been asleep for quite a bit since Jin had time to clean up.
You stood up and embraced him, his arms wrapping around you as well. “I shouldn't have just given up and left you in there by yourself. I’m sorry for acting like a child for a bit.”
“It’s alright, just don’t let me push you out again.” He smiled down at you as you lifted her head up to look at him.
“I’ll hold you to it.”
