I found your oni boy while lookin at the oni tag and he looks interesting!! do you have anything else you can tell us about him? :0

Ok so many people have asked about this, I can’t tag everyone but I hope this post somehow finds it’s way to you ^^

here goes !! He’s very aloof, lives deep in a forest, is hundreds of years old, Stands roughly 7 feet but he looks more eerie than intimidating. Barely ever talks, if he does talk, however, it's in very short sentences. always has a blank stare, barely even blinks (which can get really unsettling ) . A bit socially awkward (due to years of isolation)   Relatively calm, very little gets to him.

Only wears a shitty kimono he’s had for 200 years or so, Also has a VERY old katana from when he was human that he absolutely treasures (The only thing that reminds him he was human once) . Was a samurai when he was a human and fought many wars during the feudal era, but that’s all he’ll say.. maybe.   Though he can be extremely protective and loving to those he cares but vicious and cold to those he hates.  

He’s a war veteran so enemies shouldn't push their luck. Has a very traumatic past and a lot of skeletons in his closet and inner demons. He’s seen so many horrors and violence in his human years all he wants now is chill and Make tea out of everything and write.

Loves nature, loves animals, (Even has a deer or two that come over and chill at his hut) therefore has a deep HATE for poachers. He also doesn't get along with other demons and has no desire to. Will yell at you to get off his lawn

Did Jin have a family clan or anyone he left behind? Like a Wife, kids, mother, father, siblings? How did he go from a human to a yōkai? Also how powerful is he? Can he use magic?

I’m glad you asked!!

He had a really strict upbringing, with a samurai lord father (sad that his years of war and excitement were coming to an end) who vicariously wanted to live though him. He grew up with the threat of severe punishments if he ever did anything wrong (didn't show up for training, backtalking, or accidentally broke something. Even showing any kind of weakness would get his ass whooped) .

 Thankfully he had a wonderful mother who adored him but lost her fairly early. As a result from this his late teens he was a major hothead, snapping at anyone and everyone. (except his douchebag of a father)

As he grew up he cooled down and became a very resilient and virtuous man admired by his soldiers, but because of his abusive upbringing, a total emotional mess inside. His dad was proud, but his bitterness for him only grew more and more. He met a lovely girl, had a kid and, life was good.. for a bit.

Yet another war came about and he somehow came into the possession of a demon sword (in mythology there are sentient swords that bring out your most raw emotions) As he used the sword, he slowly went insane and started to become bloodthirsty and cold, slaying enemies cruelly and brutishly. His soldiers noticed and increasingly became terrified of him. (his men realizing it was the sword and trying to get rid of it and other shenanigans lol )

His family (the only happiness he got in this life apart from his mother) was killed by a demon and this made him snap. The sword completely took over. He went berserk and killed any poor soul he came across on his way to his father’s castle. He slaughtered his father. that night It took the entire village to hunt him down to stop his blind rampage. (in mythology only the most terrible people in life become oni’s after death BUT i like to think he transformed slowly throughout his frenzy) 

As for strength, as a human he was a pretty strong big dude, but definitely not superhuman or anything.

As an oni he has some pretty crazy strength, And magic? Oni’s can become invisible to humans but i haven't thought of anything else.

Hey fellow shorty, i’m also short lol I’m about 4′11 and a half almost 5′ >:) Sure if you can get him to carry you?? Like i said before he is pretty distant and not too affectionate. Maybe much later on after a bond has been created

Also yea he pretty much IS lonely !! But it’s def by choice And for voice i don’t really have a voice claim for him? Although i’d love for him to have a deep and very soothing voice, also pretty low (not in pitch but a rather quiet voice) something which you can almost be lulled just by listening to him :))
