The INX Court Situation
I’m so disgusted that I don’t want to translate that article. My heart aches so much for those boys and I was in tears while reading the article and explaining it to my friend and other admin Moon. I couldn’t begin to think that Na was such a shithole of a company to treat those boys in such a way. For anyone who hasn’t read the article and since there isn’t a translation of it I’ll at least just state what some of the things the company did were.
The agency demanded that the cost of hair care, makeup etc. be solved by the members. Cosmetic treatments were also called “self-management” meaning the members had to sort those out as well. The staff member that bought the practice room locked the members out of it.
The agency stated “I don’t eat a meal, I don’t die,” the members did not pay for food or daily necessities, they didn’t have food to eat in the dorm. When they were active in Japan and Taiwan they didn’t have a manager or security with them. The members frequently suffered sexual harassment at events. The CEO intimidated the members saying “If you do not listen, I will bury you in the industry.”
The staff member that revealed this information also states that they would threaten to replace the members or to make them pay. The members of INX ended up filing a lawsuit and saying that the contract had been terminated due to the company violating many agreements within it.
Thankful the INX members did win the lawsuit.
