Dear Jin

You were my first ever bias when I knew no other member. I would even go as far as to say I don’t think I would have become an ARMY if it weren’t for you. Watching your goofiness and all your jokes led me down a rabbit hole of content. While everything around me seemed to be spiraling, coming home to see your smiling face made everything feel better. 

I would say we have very similar personalities and outlooks on life. Today after seeing you in Bon Voyage I told my friend I would probably be like that when I am your age as well. That got me thinking. If when I become a proper adult I can be such a kind and caring person like you, I would be very happy.

I’ve always admired your love for your members, as well as your love for your fans. I think anyone would be lucky to have such a thoughtful person in their lives. Aside from that, I admire how you always seem to speak your mind and aren’t afraid to put others in their place. I hope to learn from you. You don’t often allow others to force you to do anything you don’t want to, you operate on your own terms.

More than anything else, I admire your hard work and dedication. Most people might not have chosen a completely new career path without much prior experience. Even though your efforts weren’t immediately or widely recognized, even though you are already extremely talented, you never falter and continue to work hard. I think that is my favorite thing about you, even if it’s not the most noticeable.

If I can become in any way like the incredible person you are, it would be the greatest compliment. Today on your 27th birthday, I just had to express how much you mean to me. I will always hold a special place in my heart for you, the kind, big-hearted soul you are. I’ll always love you. Anyways, happy birthday Jin! I wish you all the love and happiness in the world 💜
