((character run-down so far))
((here we goooo)) ((characters for arc zero, +gigabyte explanation))
this is jiovii. he doesn’t have arms; the sleeves on his sweater are empty. he’s the one who writes the blog. don’t ask how, though. it just happens. he owns a special computer called the inter-gigabytal laptop which was created by a really stupid god called ‘bawaba’, who wanted to redeem himself by making something cool. as a result, though, it also created the faulty 36th Gigabyte, which will have more importance in the upcoming arcs. the inter-gigabytal laptop is one-of-a-kind and very powerful; it is also the only known way to access the internet across all 36 gigabytes. he’s also trying to remember something, but he’s not sure what. interests: memes, anime, the 18th Gigabyte, random inapplicable philosophy, rain, seafood ramen dislikes: having rocks thrown at him, reptilians, talking about his arms (or lack thereof), oshiri’s red rubber gloves age: 19 love interest: ??? gender: male not fond of: oshiri, bawaba
this is oshiri. he’s constantly pissed and very tsundere. he wants the d oshiri’s inter-gigabytal laptop. he’s a messenger of the gods, and bawaba’s son (though he can wholeheartedly agree that his father is a git). he likes throwing rocks at jiovii and his neighbors; it has become a regular occurrence. he wears the tacky red rubber gloves to hide burn scars from when he visited the 36th Gigabyte in search of throwing-rocks and instead got a double-fistful of an energy soul (more about that in upcoming arcs, as well) who had for some reason chosen to take the eternal form of a stone. yes, he is wearing a nightshirt. also, he lives in the 1st Gigabyte with the Gods, and has the ability to teleport from there across all of the other Gigabytes at will, even if they are not connected. interests: books, money, floating, rock-throwing, the inter-gigabytal laptop, pajamas dislikes: jiovii, formal clothing, shoes, rain age: 18 love interest: jiovii gender: male not fond of: bawaba i still need to pull up a design for bawaba, so we’ll have that for you when it comes. we’ve also got a quick explanation of gigabytes.
what the actual fuck is a gigabyte well there's really no good translation from flib to english to tell you what a gigabyte really is. it's somewhere in-between a planet and a universe, kind of like a very small universe with just one planet, though in some gigabytes, such as the 18th, there are multiple planets because oshiri got bored once and slammed rocks into the first planet, so then the debris went everywhere and created new ones. the planets are usually very small in normal gigabytes, and all of them except for the 18th exist under a layer of space-time. in a way, you could say that the 1st gigabyte is a bit like the religious afterlife, because it's inaccessable unless you're dead or haven't been born yet. oshiri isn't actually the god of that place, but he likes to tell people he is. so basically, a gigabyte is a small universe existing singularly within its own dimension under a layer of space-time. we can travel between them with ease because there are vaccum-like tubes between them that allow you to enter into the neighboring gigabyte. when referring to the gigabytes excluding the 1st and 18th, we say ‘United Gigabytes’. when referring to all of them, we say ‘the Multiverse’. [6:54:07 PM] Vin: all of the gigabytes exist nestled between two layers of space-time [6:54:24 PM] Vin: and all of them are connected with things kinda like wormholes [6:54:32 PM] Vin: all of them except for two [6:54:35 PM] Vin: the 1st and the 18th [6:54:49 PM] Vin: the 1st one is not connected because it is literally an afterlife; that's where god lives m8. and you can’t get to the 18th because that’s earth, or rather, the universe earth exists in, and that’s above the sandwich of space-time in which the rest of the gigabytes live. hope this helped!
